INTRODUCTION
HOUSE
A house is a building typically lived in by one or more people. It generally has walls
and roof to shelter its enclosed space from precipitation, heat, wind, cold and other
elements. Some house transcends the basic functionality of providing a roof over
one’s head or of serving as a family home. Houses may express the circumstances
or the opinions of their builders or their inhabitants. Thus a vast and elaborate house
may serve as a sign of conspicuous wealth whereas a low profile house built of
recycled materials may indicate support of energy conservation.
While a house (or other residential dwelling) is often referred to as a "home," the
concept of home is broader than a physical dwelling. Home is often a place of refuge
and safety, where worldly cares fade and the things and people that one loves
becomes the focus. Many people think of home in terms of where they grew up, and
"home" can even be a time rather than a place.
MANSION
A mansion is a large dwelling house typically
built for the wealthy. The word itself derives from
the Latin word mansus the perfect passive
participle of manere "to remain" or "to stay". The
Scots word “manse" originally defined a property
large enough for the Minister of the parish to
maintain himself, but a mansion is no longer self-
sustaining in this way.
Mansions built during the last and present centuries usually have specially designed
rooms meant to accommodate leisure activities of a particular kind. Many will have a

music conservatory or greenhouse, while others will have an indoor or outdoor
swimming pool or an Arts and crafts room. Others will have all of these features.
There is no strict definition of how many rooms a house has to have before it can be
termed as a mansion.
MULTI - MILLIONAIRE’S RESIDENCE
A millionaire is an individual whose net worth or wealth exceeds one million units of
a currency, usually the US Dollar, Euro or the Pound. And Multimillionaire is a
Person with fortune of several million dollars. Also applies to those individuals
residing in households with a net worth or wealth of two million Dollars or more. Only
a small minority of households are indeed multimillionaire households. The term also
has a more prestigious connotation than millionaire.
So multi millionaire’s residence should have all sort of facilities one need for luxury
living. Like huge entertainment areas, Health center, Gardens, pools, and other
recreational facilities. And also the Ballrooms, lounges and guest apartments; all
designed with no cost constraints.
Only of its kind is in Mumbai – ANTILLA, The 27-storied residential skyscraper with
a price- tag nearing two billion dollars, currently under construction - owned by
Mukesh Ambani. Following the plans of Ambani’s Antilla, Vijay Mallya is planning to
build one of his own in Bangalore on Vittal Mallya Road, adjacent to UB City.

Indian billionaire and liquor tycoon, Vijay Mallya has always been known for his
charismatic personality, flamboyance and lavish lifestyle. The stylish business
tycoon is known for sporting diamond ear studs. Mallya does not think twice before
flaunting his wealth. Mallya owns yachts, private jets, a customized Boeing 727,
around 250 vintage cars and a stud farm with 200 horses. Mallya’s current
possession of residences currently is 26 across the world.
Vijay Mallya is the chairman of the UB group and according to Forbes 2008, his net
worth is us $ 1.2 billion. United breweries is the second largest sprits group in the
world. We can recall that the ub group acquired Whyte and MacKay for £ 595 million

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF DEVELOPER
Mallya wishes to develop his ancestral land with an area of 4 acres situated
on Vittal Mallya Road in Bangalore.
His objective is to develop a residence lavishly designed - complete in all
respects (similar to Mukesh Ambani’s residence in Mumbai).

MALLYA PLANNING AMBANI-TYPE HIGHRISE
The word is that the ‘King of Good Times' is getting set to build a
massive multi-storey residential complex for himself in Bangalore on his
ancestral property on Vittal Mallya Road, adjacent to UB City. Sources
say the plan is to have a designer skyscraper apartment with possibly
even a helipad on the four-acre property.
Real estate sources told TOI that the UB Group chief has roped in global
real estate consultancy DTZ to do the ground survey and planning.
Mallya's plan sounds similar to what Mukesh Ambani is doing: building a
$1-billion 60-storey place in Mumbai that sports a helipad, health club
and six floors of car parking. Named Antilla, after a mythical island, the
complex will be Ambani's new home.
Several leading Indian developers are said to have approached Mallya
to be part of his home-development plan. However, sources said Mallya
is keen to hire an overseas developer. It is believed a Singapore-based
developer would undertake the work.
It's not clear what the height of the apartment would be: one source said
it would be 16 floors, another said 30 and yet another put it at 37.
