THE ESPRESSO
MARTINI WAYS
T he Espresso martini is a cocktail name that
is familiar to all. Cocktail legend has it, that
a woman saddled up at the bar and ask the
bartender to make her a cocktail with coffee.
He asked her what her liquor of choice was
and she replied Vodka. He proceeded to make
a drink that was comprised of vodka, sugar,
coffee liqueur and a shot of espresso pulled
from the espresso machine next to his station.
It’s a story that has helped the drink retain an
edginess that many modern cocktails have
failed to replicate. Here at RESIDENTS, we are
reviving the espresso in our own way. We have
concocted 3 great espresso martinis with 3
