Prestress Formula for Tendons

This document discusses formulas for calculating the stress in bonded and unbonded prestressing tendons according to the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) 2015. It provides the formulas for determining the stress in bonded prestressing reinforcement (fps) and lists the requirements that must be satisfied if compression reinforcement is considered in the calculation. It also presents the formula for calculating the stress in unbonded prestressing reinforcement (fps) and refers to a table of permissible values. Finally, it indicates the table of permissible tensile stresses in prestressed reinforcement according to the NSCP.
