Other topics of interest:
 Inter-professional Education (SOMI, Rani Sangha suggested a MD) – how do
we incorporate this into the program, this needs to align with the strategic
plan.
o Start with basic education on incorporating this into the program
o What does it mean to take care of a patient from an
interdisciplinary standpoint?
o Survey faculty, what do you know about inter-professional
collaboration?
o Building empowerment and confidence in the students.
o Learning how to give a professional report using SBAR
o Look at the literature to see what how other schools are
incorporating inter-professional education into the schools.

 How to spot the student that could lead to violence in the school/
workplace
 CCNE Standards for Program Committee Chairs to prepare for SPOE review
cycles; help with understanding elements and standards

Journal Club Karen 5m Continuing conversation and open discussion


Mellott and  Karen Mellott talked with Chrissie Perkins and Barbara Sorbello about the
Rani Sangha journal club.
 Wine and Cheese event held last AY
