Poetry Writing Grading Rubric

This rubric evaluates student poetry writing and performance across four indicators: word choice, style, literary devices, and group structure/functioning. For each indicator, performance is assessed on a scale from excellent to needs improvement based on criteria such as vocabulary use, style definition, correct identification and use of literary devices, and ability to sequence steps and divide tasks as a group. The total possible points awarded is 20.
