It is submitted that Govt. of the Punjab, Finance Department, vide letter No. FD-
SR-I/9-21/2011 dated 01-04-2013 has been pleased to extend the facilities of [Link] allowance
50% of PhD Allowance (Rs. 5000/- per month) to all Government Servants across the board
working under the administrative control, Government of the Punjab subjected to the condition
that they acquire the M. Phil degree from the HEC recognized university.
It is requested to kindly forward my enclosed application addressed to the worthy
Secretary Agriculture Department, to the higher authority along with supporting documents and
No Demand Certificate in my favor for issuance of necessary orders for the grant of 50% of PhD
allowance which comes to Rs. 5000/- per month.

It is respectfully stated that the Government of the Punjab, Finance Department


vide letter No. FD-SR-I/9-21/2011 dated 01-04-2013 (copy enclosed) has been pleased to extend
the facilities of [Link]. qualification allowance which is 50 % of PhD allowance to all the
Government Servants across the board working under the administrative control, Government of
the Punjab subjected to the condition that they acquire the [Link] degree from the recognized
universities of Higher Education Commission with immediate effect.
I am serving as Assistant Agricultural Engineer (Well Drilling) Gujrat on contract
basis since dated 08.08.2016. I posses [Link] (Hons) Agricultural Engineering degree from the
University of Agricultural Faisalabad awarded after 18-years of schooling (completed in 2012).
The Higher Education Commission has recognized [Link] (Hons) Agricultural Engineering as
[Link]. Degree (Copies of degree and DMC enclosed).
According to the Government of the Punjab Finance department with above stated
reference, I am entitled for the grant of [Link] allowance 50% of PhD allowance which comes to
Rs. 5000/- PM. It is therefore, requested that necessary order for the grant of 50% of PhD
allowance may kindly be accorded with effect from the dated 08.08.2016.
