WORK METHOD STATEMENT

FOR
APPLICATION OF POLYMER MODIFIED STRUCTURAL REPAIR MOTAR

SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work covers the following activities such as mixing and application
technique.

EQUIPMENT AND MAN POWER

1) Scope - 3 nos.
2) Mixer - 1 no
3) Trowel - 3 nos.
4) Electrical drill - 1 no
5) Supervisor - 1
6) Skill workers - 2
7) General workers - 2

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Surface of concrete shall be free from oil, dust, grease, paint, corrosion and any
others substances.
2. Honey comb concrete shall be repaired with suitable non shrink cement.
3. Smooth surfaces shall be roughened.
4. Firstly surface of concrete shall be primed with acrylic emulsion bonding agent
‘Nitobond AR’. It will dry in approximately one hour.
5. ‘Renderoc S’ shall be applied when the ‘Nitobond AR’ is still tacky.
6. ‘Renderoc S’ shall be applied with a wood float.
7. Initially the application shall be with tamping action then follow by floating action.

8. Finishing shall be by steel trowel.
9. ‘Renderoc S’ shall be applied to the surface of concrete to 6 mm thickness.
10. For normal application 2.5 – 3.0 litres of water shall be added to a bag of 25 kg
‘Rendroc S’.
11. It shall be mixed in mixing container for several minutes.
12. Electrical drill shall be used to mix the ‘Renderoc S’.
