Alpha Approach is a company having its domain of operations in pharma sector.
It was
established by Founder and CEO Mr. HARSH KADAM in 2012. Initially it was started with 4
employees but later, as business expanded, it required more employees to carry out its operations
and hence more hiring was done, and now the numbers has grown to 40, also now it has proper
organization structure, having decided on Working hours, which is from 9:30 to 5:30 from
Monday to Friday and the organization structure has mainly 3 department or teams.
They are:
• Business Development Team.
• Sales Team
• Production Team.
Each department have its hierarchy. So for instance,
Business development team,
on a lower level, we have 5 Senior Business Associates and 8 Junior Business Associates, who will
be reporting to 2 Assistant Managers and those 2 Assistant managers will be reporting to the
Business Development Team Manager.
In Sales Team,
Sales manager has 12 employees under him, 3 experienced and 9 freshers. Here, all the 12
employees will be reporting to the sales manager directly.
Coming to the last team,
In production team,
We have 3 Operations associates, 2 Quality Inspectors and 4 Production Controllers and all of
them has to report to the Production manager for the day to day activities.

Hierarchy of the team and access to information
Coming to the next part, details or approvals of the employees like leave approval, performance of the
employee, goal sheet, learning tasks assigned, development plan, time off planned, etc will be accessed by
the employee itself and the manager above him/her. None of the subordinates or junior level employees
will have access to such data. Any request which requires higher authority approval will be passed to the
manager concerned, be it manager or manager’s manager.
So to give you an instance, let’s take Business Development Team into consideration. Here, we have
Anthony Lewis, who is a senior business associate, will be reporting to Chloe Queinn. Any such data
mentioned above of say Anthony lewis will be accessed by his manager Chloe Queinn to by the managers
above his post.
