Workshop Risk Assessment

1) The risk assessment identifies hazards like hazardous substances, exhaust fumes, fires, electrical equipment, falling objects, and compressed air that could harm workers through skin contact, inhalation, burns, injuries or asphyxiation. 2) Existing controls include supplying protective equipment, extracting fumes, fire alarms and extinguishers, inspection and maintenance of equipment, and training workers on safe procedures. 3) Further actions recommended are explaining risks to workers, arranging fire safety training and drills, assessing replacing some tools, and briefing on safe work involving certain systems. Managers and supervisors are responsible for implementing additional actions by set deadlines.
