Emergency Stop System Guide

The emergency stop system is used to instantly stop the engine during operation or prevent startup. Seven emergency stop switches are mounted in line to shut off current to the engine if engaged. When an emergency stop is activated, a timer relay supplies a solenoid valve to depressurize the hydraulic tank for 10 minutes to prevent injury from leaks. An additional emergency stop is required for pontoon excavators.

The emergency stops are used to stop the engine
instantaneously during operation or to prevent the engine to

In normal conditions, the emergency stops are not locked. The


key starting switch S1 turning on the position 1 allows the
current to supply the engine via S100_1, S100_1, S100_3,
S100_4 and S100_5.
If one of the emergency stops is pushed, the engine is no
longer supplied and shut down. In the same time, the timer
relay KT10 is actuated and supplies the solenoid valve Y13. The
opening of this valve depressurise the hydraulic tank in order
to prevent any injuries due to leaks from a hose and
mechanical damages. This valve is automatically closed again
after 10 minutes.

Kunci kontak S1 diposisikan pada posisi 1 akan mengalirkan
arus ke engine melalui S100_1,, S100_1 S100_3, S100_4 dan
S100_5.
Jika salah satu emergency stop switch ditekan, mesin tidak lagi
dialirkan arus dan dimatikan. Pada saat yang sama, KT10 relay
timer digerakkan dan mengaktifkan solenoid valve Y13.
Pembukaan valve ini mengurangi tekanann tangki hidrolik
untuk mencegah kerusakan akibat kebocoran dari hose dan
kerusakan mekanik. Katup ini secara otomatis ditutup lagi
setelah 10 menit.

In addition a fire alarm can be installed. The relay K139 is then


mounted in line with the emergency stops. When a fire is
detected, the relay K139 is actuated and prevents the engine
to be supplied during one hour. In the same time, the timer
relay KT10 is actuated and supplies the solenoid valve Y13.
After the fire alarm system has been actuated, the operator
must wait one hour before attempting to restart.
For a pontoon excavator, an additional emergency stop has to
be mounted. Its function is the same as the other emergency
stops.
Untuk penambahan fire alarm. Relay K139 kemudian dipasang
sesuai dengan emergency stop. Ketika api terdeteksi, relay
K139 digerakkan dan mencegah mesin untuk dialirkan arus
selama satu jam. Pada saat yang sama, relay timer KT10
digerakkan dan memasok solenoid valve Y13. Setelah sistem
alarm kebakaran telah ditekan, operator harus menunggu satu
jam sebelum mencoba untuk me-restart.
Untuk excavator ponton, switch emergency stop juga harus
dipasang. Fungsinya adalah sama dengan switch emergency
yang lainnya lainnya.
