Let T Timethe First Ball Travelled T S V T+ GT

The document contains two physics problems involving projectile motion: 1) A ball is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 12 m/sec and another with 24 m/sec. The balls will be at the same level after 1.325 seconds, 7.29 meters above the floor. The second ball traveled for 0.325 seconds. 2) An automobile travels 540 meters in 40 seconds, accelerating and decelerating at 1.8 m/sec^2. The maximum speed is 18 m/sec, reached after 10 seconds.

FREE FALLING BODIES:

A ball is thrown upward from the basketball court with the

velocity of 12 m/sec. One second later another ball is
thrown vertically upward with a velocity of 24 m/sec.

 When will the balls be at the same level?

 How far above the floor will the balls be at the same
level?

 Determine the time the second ball traveled until

the balls are at the same level.

An automobile is to travel a distance from A to B of 540 m., in exactly 40 seconds. The auto
accelerates and decelerates at 1.8 m/sec²., starting from the rest at A and coming to rest at
B. find the maximum speed.
