1.Discuss what is globalization.
is the exchange of goods, cultures, and populations, brought about by cross-border
trade and services, technology, and flows of investment, people, and information.
Globalization is a way of communicating to other regions all over the world in terms of
exchanging things that is written above. It’s a way for easy development of any region
that wants to develop, especially their economies.
2. Enumerate what constitute globalization.
In geography, globalization is defined as the set of processes
(economic, social, cultural, technological, institutional) that contribute
to the relationship between societies and individuals around the world.
It is a progressive process by which exchanges and flows between
different parts of the world are intensified
3.How does globalization affects law enforcement.
Transnational criminals have been one of the biggest beneficiaries of
globalization.” A lot of criminals might take this opportunity to execute their evil
plans, especially the Drugs. That’s the reason why until now there are still some
foreign people who visit in our country bringing drugs for parties. Security of
every country must be hardened in terms of trading and people visiting, because
we don’t know what they bring that can make our country more rampant to crime.
Globalization facilitates international trade but also increases the difficulty of
regulating global trade, traffickers and smugglers have exploited this. This has
allowed illicit actors to launder the proceeds of crime more easily.
4. Describe what is territory as the first component of globalization.
5. Describe society as the second component of globalization.
Society is the one who runs the Globalization and also one of the main reasons why we
are having a Globalization so as we run this trading of goods and services. We need
also to consider the society if they can cope up with this environment and if they will
really benefit from it. In Globalization, society must be considered because of its
impact on employment, working conditions, income and social protection.
Beyond the world of work, the social dimension encompasses security, culture
and identity, inclusion or exclusion and the cohesiveness of families and
communities.
.Some argue that the present model of globalization has exacerbated problems
of unemployment, inequality and poverty, while others contend that globalization
helps to reduce them. Of course, these problems predated globalization, but it is
clear that for globalization to be politically and economically sustainable, it must
contribute to their reduction. Hence the goal of a globalization which meets the
needs of all people.
