1. Introduction and Project Overview
⮚ Budget Coders would like to thank Edward for giving us the opportunity to present
them with its proposal to dominoes. This document presents Budget Coders
understanding of the requirements, proposed solution and the development
approach for the system. Budget Coders is confident of executing this project to the
complete satisfaction of Edward.

⮚ This Proposal defines the scope of work (SOW), execution phases, roles and
responsibilities, time and cost estimates, the process model for the execution and
delivery time-lines.

⮚ Upon approval and sign-off by both Budget Coders and Edward, this document will
serve as the statement of agreed work (SOW) for the project, whose execution will
be carried out as per the details in this document. Any deviations, if identified later,
shall be mutually agreed upon by the teams of Budget Coders and Edward.

⮚ Edward wants us to build a mobile application where web user can perform following
actions:
o Play the game
o Change game settings
o Change game theme

⮚ Budget Coders will be responsible for creating the Designs, Mobile platform(iOS &
Android).

2. Key Assumptions
This proposal is developed based on Budget Coders understanding of the work as described
by Edward in its requirements document. In preparing these documents, Budget Coders
makes the following assumptions for the duration of a project.

⮚ Any changes in the scope document after the final draft / Design Prototype (Not yet
closed) which would require a man effort of more than 1 man day will be charged
extra.

⮚ Budget Coders will designate a single person to make a decision when any issue
arises or clarifications are required. This person will be designated at the start of the
task and will have authority to make binding decisions essential to the timely
completion of work.

⮚ In order to ensure that all deliverable are completed in a timely manner, Budget
Coders will maintain a constant liaison with Edward in-person/Skype/E-mail via an
authorized competitive Project Manager allocated for the project

⮚ Edward will instruct to liaise with Budget Coders project manager during the
development stage to verify the changes made and clarify any doubts if they happen
to arise during the requirements gathering and development stage.
⮚ It is very important that the queries and doubts raised by the development team be
addressed within 36-48 hours so that the timelines of the project are not affected. If
for any reason the issues remain open then the project delivery date will be
accordingly delayed and will be charged extra for the delayed period.

⮚ Code delivery will be only done once the final payment is released and the online
feedback form is submitted from the Edward side.

⮚ Budget Coders is liable to provide error free website with dummy content and
products. If Edward wants Budget Coders to enter the products and content then it
will come under support services.

⮚ Edward will provide the content of the application.

⮚ Edward will own and provide Email Gateway credentials for sending emails to users.

⮚ We have considered Responsive web platform scope.

⮚ We have considered SEO for website in scope.

⮚ We have not considered any kind of reports or graphs in scope.

⮚ We have not considered integration with any 3rd party analytics like Google Analytics.

7. Project Management
Budget Coders has its in-house, Project Management Tool which is used to manage the
projects. This tool supports project planning and resource management. All the reporting
and issues are managed using the PMT.

8. Project Team
Based on Budget Coders initial understanding the following resources will be required to
handle the project in an off-site model:

9. Development Efforts
9.1. Delivery Timeline
The delivery timeline would be 2-3 weeks from the date of initiation of the application.
This timeline includes the finalization of designs, development of product and the
deployment on Edward’s server.

9.2. Total Development Cost

As per Budget Coders understanding of the project and the defined scope of work in
this proposal, we have estimated a total effort of approx. 152 Man Hours would be
required for the development and implementation of proposed solution, testing and
deployment.
Budget Coders will share the delivery timeline and milestone deliverables of the
project after Project Initiation. The total development cost would be USD breakup
below:

QA: 8 Hours : 120
PM: 8 Hours : 120

Total Cost : 7680 USD

Rate card shared in email :

Full time Full Stack Mobile App developer(200hrs) : 8.75usd per hour
Part time Full Stack Mobile App developer(80hrs) : 11usd per hour
Hourly Full Stack Mobile App developer( min. 10 hours booking) : 15usd per hour

1USD per hour project coordinator/overhead/management additional with every resource

10. Reports
Budget Coders shall furnish Edward with regular progress reports transmitted via E-mail
describing the progress and status of the major activities, problems discovered and other
information requested by Edward from time to time. The parties may have meetings or call
conferences, from time to time as may be appropriate, for tracking and discussing the
progress of, and exchanging information.

11. Testing / QA
Budget Coders QA team is capable of assuring product quality by understanding project
requirement and active participation in each and every phase of product/project
development life cycle.

QA Responsibilities: Our QA team is responsible for the following activities:

a) Requirement Understanding
QA team understands the functional requirements of the project from the specification and
also become a part of all project initiation meetings for requirement understanding and
analysis.

b) Preparation of Test Cases

QA team is responsible for preparing the test cases for the requirement. A continuous
maintenance is also done by QA team for these test cases as per changing requirements.
Project requirements are defined using various tools like MS Excel, or any project
management tool recommended by a Edward.

c) Preparing of Traceability Matrix

While development work is in-process, QA team prepares and defines the Traceability
matrix containing each and every requirement in order to test and trace it properly.

d) Deciding and preparing Test Strategy to Perform Testing

Before starting final testing of the application, QA team decides and prepares their test
strategy, defining the final approach for testing.

e) Final testing of Product/Project

Based on the test strategy prepared, final testing is carried out on QA release cut from
development branches. QA team runs all the written test cases on QA release and updates
the test matrix. The final outcome of this phase is a QA report which contains a brief
summary of a testing outcome like a number of issues categorized on priority and severity,
and a final grade to the project. Based on the project requirement either Manual or
Automatic Testing can be performed

For this project, testing will be done using the following:

⮚ Mantis, Jira, Redmine, Bug Zilla and Basecamp or any other Edward specific tools
for bug reporting and bug tracking.
 ⮚ MS Office for creating Test Plan, Test Cases matrix and for creating test reports.

12. Support
After the completion of project, Budget Coders can provide 1 month free ongoing support
for the scope we have completed and for any new desire i.e new feature implementation,
support, enhancements, customization and modifications it would cost you additional.

15. Scope of Service

The implementation of the list of features and sub-features provided in the scope of work is
considered in the scope of the project.

Responsibilities of Budget Coders

⮚ To provide the application as described in the specification provided by

Edward Team.
⮚ To create the designs(PSD) of the whole application excluding the admin
panel.
⮚ Raise any queries, clarifications, recommendations for improvements related
to the project.
⮚ Incorporate the review comments of Edward and deliver the unit tested
code.
⮚ Provide support during testing phase (user acceptance) for an expected
period of one week. As per the feedback from the Edward, Budget Coders
technical team will resolve the reported issues/bugs in the shortest duration.
⮚ Regular meetings will be scheduled between the Edward and Budget
Coders technical team working on the project, to discuss the progress and
the next steps.
⮚ Budget Coders will set up development and test environments, and Edward
will have access to the test environment to review the work done.

Responsibilities of the Edward

⮚ Assign a single point of contact for all technical queries during the project.
⮚ Provide clarifications for all the queries raised by the offshore team within
agreed time frame laid out in the plan. Budget Coders expects all queries to
be answered within 2 business days. In case Edward is not in a position to
provide the complete clarification, it should provide the response time-frame
to Budget Coders within 2 business days.
⮚ Carry out testing (system, user acceptance) and provide feedback to Budget
Coders within the specified time frame.
⮚ Review all defect fixes related to testing phases for the defects arising out of
the code developed by Budget Coders.
⮚ Provide final acceptance and sign off for the completion of the project if all
the acceptance criteria have been met by Budget Coders.
⮚ Provide pre-requisites for the project before the commencement of
development work
16. Change Request Procedure

⮚ It is important that all participants’ work as a team and guidelines be established to

control changes that any party may find necessary as the project proceeds.
However, all parties must informally review such changes, impact, and risks and
agree to scope being within the program definition.

⮚ Any changes to specifications or design after the commencement of the development

phase will not be part of the scope. These changes will be considered as change
requests.

⮚ Scope changes are significant as they can result in modifications to contractual

agreements and to task order pricing, staffing, and scheduling. Budget Coders will,
therefore, follow a formal structure for identifying and monitoring requested changes
in system requirements that may result in changes to the scope of work.

⮚ Change to the work, cost or timelines will be only done with prior written agreement
between Edward and Budget Coders team. Change Requests may be initiated either
by Budget Coders Team or by Edward Team.

17. Payment Terms and Conditions

⮚ Any additional modification/ requirement in the requirement and space will
be charged extra on mutual agreement.

⮚ Payments to be made in favor of Budget Coders.

⮚ No return on the start of work.
