Q - What is the Educational Eligibility to appear for IIT JEE exams ?

A - To be eligible for JEE, a candidate should be 10+2 passed. The subjects in 10+2 should be
chemistry, Biology, English & Physics.

Q - What is the Age Limit for appearing for IIT JEE exams ?

A - For any candidate to qualify for JEE he/she should be born on or after October 1, 1996. This is
for General Category. For all other categories there is a 5 year relaxation.

Q- Is there an upper limit for appearing JEE exams ?

A - All candidates are allowed to appear for IIT JEE examination as there is no upper limit.

Q - What is the Marks eligibility to appear for IIT JEE exams ?

A - For NEET 2021 the marks required are aggregate only for Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

For General Category it is 75%, For OBC/SC/ST/PWD it is 65%.

Q - What are the maximum attempts that a candidate can appear for IIT JEE ?

A - A candidate can appear maximum 3 times for JEE Mains examination.

Q - Are NRI & Foreign Nationals eligible to appear for IIT JEE examination ?

A - Yes. However foreign candidates should have passed an exam equivalent to 10+2 in their
respective countries. This also includes subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics.

A - The question pattern in IIT JEE is MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and NVQ
