AFTER ACTIVITY REPORT ON THE 3RD NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE
DRILL
SEPTEMBER 16, 2021
I. RATIONALE
In accordance with its mandate to orchestrate the development of
strategies and approaches to reduce disaster risk and manage the
consequences of disasters in the country, the Local DRRM office of the
Municipality of Lupon conducts national simultaneous earthquake drill
for the 3RD NSED, September 16, 2021.
DILG Memorandum circular no. 2021-061 mandates all LGUs to
participate the said drill amidst pandemic in order to have preparation
on the possible adverse impacts of Disaster.
II. AGENCIES INVOLVED
The following are the agencies involved in the Earthquake Drill
Exercise
1. Local PNP
2. Local BFP
3. MDRRMO Officers and Staff
4. MDRRMO Operations Center Responders
III. ACTIVITY PROPER
i. PRE-NSED
The local PNP and BFP watched the live stream of the Office of the Civil
Defense on the program especially on the importance on reinstating
preparedness mechanism among the first responders on site.
Reintegrating the approved contingency plan of the municipality and to
remind to perform its core function in times of disaster.
ii. ON-SITE DRILL EXERCISE
The agencies involved in the NSED has performed the Duck-Cover-
and-Hold for 10-Mins.
iii. POST-NSED ACTIVITY
The Municipal DRRM Action Officer conducted post-evaluation activity
to the stake holders.
IV. OUTPUTS
The activity achieved the following:
A. Determined the preparedness of LDRRM Office staff, PNP and BFP
and its stakeholders on any adverse impacts of Disaster
B. Developed and enhanced Contingency plans against Earthquake
situations.
