Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
Introduction:
There are three generally recognized sources of knowledge: (1) Sense perception (felling) (2)
intellect (3) Wahi (revelation).
Why Allah (SWT) chooses the Wahi? Wahi is the best way of knowledge which there is no doubt in
it, so Allah (SWT) has chosen this way to express all Holy divine Books; specially the Holy Qur’an
which is given to His the last and the best prophet and messenger Muhammad (SAAS). So we must
know it in details. Allah (SWT) said: “Surely We have revealed to (on) you as We revealed to (on)
Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to (on) Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and
Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and to Daud We
gave the Psalms (Jabur).”, [4:163] .

Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.

only from Allah (SWT) to prophet who claims prophethood;
and he has a miracle.
5. “Imam Saarabi” said in another place: Information secretly

Question patterns:
Features of the
revelation of the Holy Qur’an/
Answer:
* According to the statement of the Holy Qur’an: Three kinds:
(1) Inspiration (Ilham), (2) Behind a veil (covering), (3) By
sending a messenger. The Holy Qur’an states: “It is not fitting for a
man that Allah (SWT) should speak to him except by inspiration, or
from behind a veil (covering), or by the sending of a messenger to
reveal, with Allah’s (SWT) permission, what Allah (SWT) wills: For
He is Most High, Most Wise.”, [42:51].
* Normal sence: Whai two types, like: (a) Wahi of all Prophets and
Messengers except Prophet Muhammad (SAAS): It includes all Divine
Books and scriptures (b) Wahi of Prophet Muhammad (SAAS): It includes
Qur'an and Hadith.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
* According to the statement of Muslim scholars:
1- “Abul Hasan Al-Amedi” said: There are two kinds of Whai (revelation), these are: (a)
Wahi Al-Matlu: It is the Holy Qur’an (b) Wahi Gair Al-Matlu: It is Hadith.
2- “Muhammad Abdul Azim al-Jurkani” said: There are many kinds (four) of the way of
the revelation, from these: (a) Revelation directly came from Allah (SWT) (b) Revelation
revealed directly into the heart (c) Revelation revealed in the form of dream (d) Revelation
through an Angel in his true form. These are famous classifications of Wahi.
3- Famous Muslim Scholar “Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya” said: There are seven
classiffications of Whahi, these are: (a) In the form of dreams (b) Revelations are revealed
directly into the heart (c) Revelations are brought by an Angel in the form of a Man (d)
Revelations are revealed upon the sound of a bell (e) Revelations are revealed through an
Angel in his true form (f) Revelations are revealed directly from Allah (SWT) (g) Speaking
with Allah (SWT) directly without medium; like Musa (As).
4- Another Muslim Scholar said: These are eight, these are: These seven types, and
another kind is: Speaking with Allah (SWT) directly without a veil (covering).
5- Another Muslim Scholar said: Another kind is: Revelation of wahi through the Angel
“Israfil”.
So, accordint to the statement of Muslims scholars, there are two to nine types of Wahi.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
As a summary: We can divide Q. the classification of Wahi into two kinds, these are:
(1) Classifications of Wahi generally.
(2) Classifications of Wahi according to receive it.

Details explanation: So its details discussions are given below:

[1] Classifications of Wahi generally:

Generally, There are two types of Wahi, these are:
(a) Wahi Al-Matlu: Which we can recite it in prayer as the part of Qirath (recitation), by
reciting this wahi we will be rewarded ten times out of only one letter. It is the Holy
Qur’an. It is narrated by “Abdullah Ibn Masud”, he said: Prophet (SAAS) said: “Whoever
reads a letter from the Book of Allah (SWT), he will have a reward. And that reward
will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I
am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So
increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following
merit as well”. [Tirmidhi, hadith no-2910].
(b) Wahi Gair-e-Matlu: Which we can not able to recite it in prayer as the part of Qirath
(recitation), by reciting these there is no fixed reward; like ten times out of only one letter;
but we can recite it as another way and we will be rewarded generally. It is Hadith; both of
Hadith An-Nawawi and Hadith Al-Qudshi.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
[2] Classifications of Wahi according to receive it:
According to the statement of Muslim Scholars, there are (7) or (08) or (09) kinds of Wahi, these are:
(1) In the form of dreams: Sometimes, Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) was received divine
revelation (Wahi) in the form of dreams. Ayesha (ra) narrates that: “The beginning of Wahi began in
the form of true dreams. Whenever the Holy Prophet (SAAS) would see a dream its true
meaning and significance it would become clear by the morning”, [Bukhari: 6581].
(2) Revelations were revealed directly into the heart: The Prophet (SAAS) also used to
receive revelation (Wahi) directly into the heart. Prophet (SAAS) states: “Angel Gibril conveyed a
message into my heart. That no man can die until his ‘Rijk’ or resources have been completed.
So Man would fear Allah (SWT) and try all means to achieve his resources”, [Tafsir-e-Ibn Kshir,
1/124].
(3) Revelations were revealed in the form of bell: Another method of the revelation was as
the sound of a bell. The Holy Prophet (SAAS) would hear the ringing of a bell or a musical sweet
sound, which would be immediately followed by divine revelation (Wahi). According to “Aisha” (r.a)
once the divine revelation began, Angel Gibril (a.s) would come at various times with different
Ayahth of the Holy Qur’an. According to her, the Holy Prophet (SAAS) states that: “Sometimes
Wahi comes to me after a bell rings and that is a heavy (difficult) time for me …”, [Bukhari: 02].
In another Hadith: “This method of the revelation appears to be the most difficult type for the
Holy Prophet (SAAS) to bear.

”, [Tafsir-e-Ibn Kasir, vol- 4, pages- 436].

Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
(4) Revelations were brought by the Angel Gibril in the form of a Man: One
of the most common ways of receiving revelation (wahi) was through Angel Gibril
(as). The Holy Qur’an states: "Say: Whoever is an enemy to Gibril – for he brings
down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah’s (SWT) will, a confirmation of what
went before, and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe”, [02:97].
* Sometimes, Angel Gibril (as) would come to the Holy Prophet (SAAS) in the form
of a man, specially in the form of a companion of Prophet (SAAS) named “Dahiya
Al-Qalbi” (Dahiyatul Qalbi) or a desert Arab. It is narrated by “Ummi Salama”
(r.a), she said: “Once I saw “Dahiya Al-Qalbi” (Dahiyatul Qalbi) in front of the
Prophet (SAAS) talking to Him. The Prophet (SAAS) then asked me: “Do you
know who this man was?” I replied: “That was “Dahiya Al-Qalbi” (Dahiyatul
Qalbi) , by Allah (SWT), I thought it was he, but the Prophet (SAAS) of Allah
(SWT) later announced in His Kutbah it was the Angel Gibril... ”, [Al-Mujam Al-
Kabir, Hadith no-788].
•Sometimes, Angel ‘Gibril’ (as) would come to to the Holy Prophet (SAAS) in the
form of a desert Arab, it is reported in ‘Bukhari and Muslim’, narrated by Abu
Hurairah (ra),
, [Bukhari and Muslim].
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
(5) Revelations were revealed through the Angel Gibril (as) in his true form:
Angel Gibril (as) also came to the Holy Prophet (SAAS) in his actual Angelic
form. “Abdullah Ibn Masud” (r.a) narrated from Prophet Muhammad (SAAS),
he said: “Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) saw Angel Gibril in His actual form,
He had 600 wings”, [Musnad-e-Ahmad: 3748].
(6) Revelations were revealed directly from Allah (SWT): Allah (SWT) has
communicated directly with some of His Prophets {But, prophet (SAAS) did not
see Almighty Allah (SWT)}, like: With Prophet Musa (a.s) on the Mount Toor.
The Holy Prophet (SAAS) spoke directly with Allah (SWT) during he ascended
(rise) into the heavens, during the time of Miraj. There, Allah (SWT) had given
divine revelation to His Holy Prophet (SAAS) concerning (about) the obligatory
prayers. Allah (SWT) said: “Then He approached and came closer. And was at
a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer. So did (Allah (SWT))
convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey.
The heart lied not (in seeing) what it saw”, [53:8-11].

(7) Speaking with Allah (SWT) directly without medium; like Musa (As): Some
Muslim Scholars explained this way as seperat way. It happened in heaven during the
night of Miraj, then Allah (SWT) had given divine revelation to His Holy Prophet
(SAAS) concerning (about) the obligatory prayers.
(8) Speaking with Allah (SWT) directly without the veil (covering)/ Dialogue
between Allah (SWT) and Prophet Muhammad (SAAS): Some Muslim Scholars
explained this way as a separate way also. Allah (SWT) had communicated directly
with Prophet (SAAS) during his Miraj and Prophet (SAAS) also had communicated
with Almighty Allah (SWT) at this time (but Prophet did not see Allah). It happened
between Allah (SWT) and His Prophet (SAAS); like Prophet Musa (a.s) on the Mount
of Toor. It is discussed in Hadith concerning this communication by saying: “{The
Prophet (SAAS) said to Allah (SWT)}: “All kinds of greetings, prayers and goodness
belong to Allah (SWT).” Upon this greeting, Allah (SWT) said to His Prophet
(SAAS): “Peace, the mercy of Allah (SWT) and His blessings be on you, O
Prophet!” (Thereupon, the Messenger (SAAS) of Allah (SWT) said: “Peace be on us
and on the righteous servants of Allah (SWT).” (Jibril witnessed this talk at Sidra al-
Muntaha when Allah (SWT) ordered him to be a witness by saying):

. [This Dua’/Tashahud is mentioned in Bukhari, hadith no-797].

Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
(9) Revelation was revealed through Israfil: Hafiz Burhanuddin Al-
Halabi, Al-Suhaili and Ibn-e-Abdul Barr said: The wahi was started by
Angel “Israfil” for sometimes, after that it was continued by Angel
“Gibril”, they based their theorey on a narration, it is narrated by
“Sha’bi”, he said: {“It was revealed to (on) Prophet Nabuath
(prophethood), in this time he was fourty years old, then the Angel
“Israfil” used to send wahi for three years, he was come with some
words and another thing, after that this duty was given to Angel
“Gibril”}.There is a hadith in Musnad Ahmad, this duration was for three
years; but this report is based on weak Hadith, not strong Hadith.
Regarding this last opinion; there is another opinion about the duration of
the first revelation through Angel “Israfil”; like two and a half year,
or only half year; but all these information are based on weak
references, so these opinions are not acceptable. It is the famous
opinion that the wahi was started through Angel “Gibril”; not
Angel “Israfil”.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
There are many opinions regarding the beginning of Qur’an’s revelation, some of them:
[1] “Imam Suyuti”: The Holy Qur’an was descended in two stages:
(a)From the Lauh Al-Mahfuz, (the well-preserved tablet to Sama-Id-Dunia (the lowest stage of the
heavens) of the world, altogether, in the Lailatul Qadar.
(b) From the heaven to earth in stages throughout the twenty-three years of Muhammad’s (SAAS)
prophethood, and firstly it was started in the lalila al-qadr of Ramadan, through the Angel Gibril.
[2] “Manna al-Quattan” : The Holy Qur’an was descended by following three stages:
(a) Descending the Holy Qur’an is happened altogether to Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the tablet of destiny) by secret
way which we don’t know about it. Allah (SWT) said: “Nay! it is a glorious Qur’an. (Inscribed) in a
tablet preserved”, [85:21-22].
(b) The Holy Qur’an has descended altogether from Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the tablet of destiny) to the lower
heaven Baitul Iizzat (house of honour) on the night of Qadr (power) in Ramadan. Allah (SWT) said in
Holy Qur’an: “Surely We revealed it on a grand night”, [97:1]. He also said: “Surely We revealed it on
a blessed night, surely We are ever warning”, [44:3].
(c) The Holy Qur’an was descended to the heart of Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) from the lower heaven
Baitul Izzat (house of honour) during his 23 years of prophethood life according to occurrences,
situations and conditions. Allah (SWT) said: “Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
With it came down the spirit of faith and truth. To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish,
in plain Arabic language”, [26:192-195].
[3] “Imam Faqruddin Al-Razi”, “Imam Hafiz ibn Qasir” and “Imam Qurtubi” stated that: Those parts of
the Holy Qur’an which were to be revealed to (on) the Holy Prophet (SAAS) in one year would first be revealed
in the heaven on the night of Qadr as advance.

As summary:

1- Some Muslim scholars said: Qur’an was revealed to Prophet

(SAAS) from Allah directly through Angel Jibrail.

2- Some Muslim scholars said: Qur’an was revealed to Prophet

(SAAS) from the heaven of the earth through Angel Jibrail.

3- Acceptable opinion is: Qur’an was revealed to Prophet (SAAS)

from Allah through some stages, this system was not as per
wish and will of Angel Jibrail or Prophet (SAAS), but as per plan
and permission of Allah, for this reason it is said that: Qur’an
was revealed to Prophet (SAAS) from Allah.

Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
(a) Gradual Revelation of Wahi:
1- System of the revelation of the Holy Qur’an: The Holy Qur’an was not revealed in one
instance (example) but through a piecemeal (gradually) process with small numbers of Ayath
revealed at any one time.
2- Opinion of Muslim Scholars regarding how many Ayah was revealed at a time:
a- The Muslim Scholar “Ibn Ashtar” states that normally one Ayah – (to) two Ayath
were revealed to (on) the Holy Prophet (SAAS) at any one time.
b- Other scholars such as: “Omar” (rad), “Ali” (rad) and “Imam Baihaqui” opine that
four to five Ayath were revealed at any one time.
3- Claims of Arab: As revelation started the pagan Arabs witnessed the piecemeal (gradually)
process and used this as a tool to attack the new Muslims. They taunted (laughed at) them by
asking why the Holy Qur’an had not revealed at one time if it was a divine Book? Allah (SWT)
said: “Those who reject faith say: Why is the Holy Qur’an not revealed to (on) him all at
once)”, [25:32].
4- Answer from Allah (SWT): The Holy Qur’an then eloquently (fluently) answers its claim
by saying: “Thus (It is revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have
rehearsed it to thee (you) in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually”. [25: 32].
- He also said: “(It is) a Qur’an which We have divided (into parts from time to time), in
order that thou mightest recite it to men at intervals (gaps): We have revealed it by
stages”, [17:106].
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
(b) The reason for revealing the Holy Qur’an in stages/ Wisdom behind the Gradual Revelation/ Why
was the Holy Qur’an revealed in various stages:
The Holy Qur’an was revealed in stages over a period of 23 years and not as a complete Book in one single
act of the revelation. There are a number of reasons for this; most important reasons are given below:
1- Plan of Allah (SWT): It was the plan of Allah (SWT) to send down the Holy Qru‘an gradually; not
altogether; because it is well known that Allah (SWT) can do anything as His will, and it is His special
attribute. Allah (SWT) said: “The great doer of what He will”, [85: 16].
2- Saving from forgetting the Wahi: The Wahi was revealed gradually to save the Prophet (SAAS) and
Muslim Ummah from forgetting the Holy Qur’an. Allah (SWT) said: “By degrees shall We teach thee
(you) to declare (the Message), so thou shall not forget. Except as Allah (SWT) wills: For He knows
what is manifest and what is hidden”, [87: 6-7].
3- Giving moral support in the time of need and distress (suffering): To strengthen the heart of the
prophet by addressing him continuously and whenever the need for guidance arose. Allah (SWT) said:
“Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee
(you) in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually”.” [25: 32].
4- To save prophet (SAAS) from the difficult condition: Out of consideration for the Prophet (SAAS)
since revelation was a very difficult experience for Him. “Aisha” (ra) added: “Verily I saw the Prophet
being inspired divinely on a very cold day and noticed (seen) the sweat dropping from his forehead (as
the Inspiration was over)”.
5- To implement the laws of Allah (SWT) gradually: So that they can implement it easily. It was the
character of Companions of Prophet (SAAS) that they were implemented the direction of the Holy Qur’an
in their practical life.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
6- To make understandable, applicable and memorizable: To make the believers understandable
and memorizable and applicable of the revelation easier for them.
7- According to conditions: As the Muslims began to grow in number they became faced with many
different problems. So often in response to specific situations that arose (awaken) Qur’anic Ayath
were revealed to (on) the new Muslim community. Allah (SWT) said: “And no question do they
bring to thee (you) but We reveal to thee (you) the truth and the best explanation (thereof)”,
[25:33].
8- Making change step by step: So the divine message of Allah (SWT) was revealed slowly to
allow the new Muslim Arabs to change and accept the new faith.
9- Giving direction to perform any work gradually: We have to do many works, there is no scope
to perform them altogether, perhaps, Allah (SWT) has sent down the Holy Qur’an gradually; so that
we can understand this theme from this system.
10- The Holy Qur’an will remain lasting: Among all divine Books and Scriptures, the Holy Qur’an
is a unique divine Book which is for all ages and communities, and it will continue according to will
of Allah (SWT), for this reason; among all divine Books and Scriptures, Allah (SWT) has revealed
this best divine Book gradually, not altogether.
11- To save the Holy Qur’an totally: The reson of sending the Holy Qur’an gradually is to protect
the Holy Qur’an from all kinds of omitting and distortion.
12- “Manna al-Qattan”: Reasons of revealing the Holy Qur’an in stages are three: (a) To strengthen
the heart of the prophet (b) To give the answer about many questions and to protect many situations
towards Islamic Movement (c) To practise easily step by step.
Main Lecture Presentation, Prepared and presented by: Md. Ilias Hossain, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, CENURC, IIUC, Date: Spring 2021.
[1] The first revelation
(a) The first revealed Ayah:
(1) The first revelation totally: Majority Muslims scholars said, the first revelation that
the Prophet Muhammad received is in the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq (96: 1-5,
according to others1-3): Allah (SWT) said: “Read in the name of your Lord, who
created, created man from a clot. Read and your Lord is most bountiful. (He who
thought) the use of the pen, taught man which he knew not”, [96: 1-5].
*The Pause (fatrah): After the first message thus received, revelation stopped for a certain
period and then resumed. It is narrated by “Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari”, while he was
talking about the period of pause in revelation, reporting the speech of the Prophet (SAAS):
“While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the heaven. I looked up and
saw the same Angel who had visited me at the Cave of Hira sitting on a chair between
the sky and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and said: “Wrap me
(in blankets)”, [Bukhari, hadith no-4].
(2) The second revelation: The second portion of the Holy Qur’an revealed to (on) the
Prophet Muhammad was the beginning of Surah Al-Muddarhthir (74:1-5). The rest
revealed later and began as follows: “O you covered in your cloak arise and warn (the
people against Allah’s (SWT) punishment). And thy Lord do thou magnify! And thy
garments keep free from stain! And all abominations shun (avoid)!”, [74:1-5]. After this
revelation came strongly and regularly”.

(3) Other early revelations:
(a) Muslim Scholars said that: First part from Surah Al-Muzzammil (73) was the next revelation.
(b) According to the statement of some Muslim Scholars: The first revelation was Istiadah (asking
refuge to Allah (SWT)). It is narrated by “Abdullah Ibn Abbas” (r.a) and others, and it is mentioned in
Tafsir-e- Ibn kashir.
(c) According to the statement of another Muslim Scholar: The first revelation is: “BasmAllah
(SWT)”; means: “Bismillah hir Rahmanir Rahim”.

(b) The first revealed Surah:

(1) According to the statement of majority Muslim scholars: Surah Al-Fatiha (01) was the third
Surah to be revealed (generally, and it was the first Surah revealed as full Surah).
(2) According to the statement of some Muslim Scholars: It was revealed firstly in Madina (the
first surah was revealed in Madina): Surah Al-Anfal (08), It is narrated by “Uthman” (r.a). It is
mentioned in Tafsir-e- Ibn Kashir.
(3) Among other early revelations, which the Prophet declared in Makka are, according to some
reports, Surah Al-Masadd (111), Surah At-Takwir (81), Surah Al-A‘la (87), Surah Al-Lail
(92) ...etc. Then revelation continued, mentioning Paradise and Hell, and until mankind turned to
Islam, there came revelation about halal (valid ruling) and haram (invalid ruling). . . The
revelation came to the Prophet throughout his lifetime, both in Makka and Medina, i .e. over a
period of about 23 years until shortly before his death in the year 10th after Hijra (622 A.D).

[2] Last revelation:
(a) The last revealed Ayah:
(1) Ayah: “And fear the day when you shall be brought back to Allah (SWT). Then shall
every soul be paid what it earned and none shall be dealt with unjustly, [02:281].
(2) Ayah: “O you who believe! Fear Allah (SWT), and give up what remains of your
demand for usury (interest), if you are indeed believers”, [2:278].
It has also been suggested that all those Ayath (verses: 1+2) were revealed to one occasion. The
Prophet died after nine nights of the last revelation. It is said by “Abdullah Ibn Abbas” (r.a).
(3) Ayah: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you
and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”, [05:03].
The opinion is that this Ayah (verse) (05:03) was the last revelation is not found according to
many scholars, since it was revealed during the last pilgrimage of the Prophet. “Imam Suyuti”
explained concerning the Ayah (verse) in Surah Al-Maiedah (05: 03), that after it nothing
concerning (about) ahkam (legal ruling) and halal (valid) and haram (invalid) was revealed,
and in this sense, it is the completion of religion. However, revelation reminding man of the
coming Day of Judgment continued and last such revelation is the above Ayah (verse).
(4) Others: 04: 176, 04: 93, 09: 128- 129, 21: 25.
(b) The last revealed Surah:
(a) Some Muslaim Scholars said: The last surah was revealed to (on) Prophet Muhammad (SAAS): Surah Al-
Nasar, (Surah no-110). It is narrated by “Abdullah Ibn Abbas”, it is mentioned in Sahih Muslim (√).
(b) Another Muslaim Scholar said: It was Surah Al-Maidah (Surah no-05). It is narrated by “Aiashia” and
“Abdullah Ibn Umar” (r.a). It is mentioned in Tirmiji.
(c) According to Some Muslim Scholars: It was revealed lastly in Madina: Surah At-Tawba (Surah no-09), It
is narrated by “Uthman” (r.a). It is mentioned in Tafsir-e- Ibn Kashir.
