Soil and Material Testing Results Report

The laboratory investigation results summarize testing done on samples for a construction project. Sample 1 was classified as sandy clay (SC) with a maximum dry density of 1.780 gm/cc and optimum moisture content of 10.88%. Sample 2 was classified as clayey gravel (GC) with maximum dry density of 2.040 gm/cc and optimum moisture content of 10.50%. Testing of bituminous mix materials found the job mix at 3.41% binder content by total mass met the stripping value requirement of 98.80%.
