1. Abstract
The need of E-Health care system has been seriously realized in the country due to
inadequate medical facilities and recently some serious covid-19 situation. People
want to consultant doctor repeatedly for discussing about their current condition
about their disease, for regular checkup and receive prescriptions from their doctor.
The main purpose of our system is to facilitate those people who don’t have
sufficient medical service in their areas and they can’t move again and again to town
hospital. This is most common issue in rural areas of Pakistan.
E-Health care system is providing doctors advices and services within few clicks. The
idea of E-Health system is that both patient and doctor will use this webapp to
interact with each other via using interactive video/audio conference. This will help to
reduce the cost as well as time.
2. Background and Justification
The primary purpose is to use creative activities to lessen human suffering. Existing
system such as Al-Shifa Hospital and Shokat Khanam Hospital are using the systems
which give information of doctors and reports result to the patients. Our proposed
system will provide online appointment with consultant doctor and virtual assistance
to patient through interactive video/Audio call method. Just in one click
communication between doctor and patient is the plus point in our proposed
system.
3. Project Scope
With E-Health Care app patient will search, select and book specialist doctors in a
convenient and hassle free manner. With E-Health portal, patient will get instant
doctor appointment confirmation as well as reminders. Also this actually will work to
provide mediation between the patient and doctor.
This application will enable the doctor to set up a live appointment with patient via
interactive video/audio calling facility if he/she finds initial details inadequate. It is the
single place that will help you to manage your loved ones’ healthcare needs.

The patient will be provided with patient portal which will enable patient to book
appointment, search doctor, view doctor prescription, and discuss with doctor about
their disease virtually. Similarly doctor will be provided with doctor portal where he
can set availability hours and confirm appointments by patient.
4. Project Methodology
Incremental Model is one of the most adopted models of software development
process where the software requirement is broken down into many standalone
modules in the software development life cycle. Here we used to put some great
efforts in steps by steps. In E-Health care we split modules into 2,3 different Phases
and open for Users suggestions and changes. With limited features we just
implemented the System for patients and doctors after getting sufficient data and
then start doing analysis, designing, implementation, carrying out all the required
testing or verification and maintenance. In incremental models, each iteration stage
is developed and hence each stage will be going through requirements analysis,
design, coding and finally the testing modules of the software development life
cycle. Functionality developed in each stage will be added on the previously
developed functionality and this repeats until the software is fully developed. At
each incremental stage there are thoughts, reviews and on the bases of those
analyses we decide on the next stage will be taken out.
