Sprinter Van Additional Battery Guide

This technical bulletin provides upfitters with information on adding additional batteries to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. It notes that the standard wiring harness allows for one extra battery. For more than one additional battery, upfitters should refer to the Sprinter Body & Equipment Guidelines for requirements regarding extra batteries, solar panels, and chargers. The bulletin also includes a diagram showing how a current limitation system can be used to add multiple batteries in parallel as long as they are the same type, capacity, and age.
