THE BUSINESS

The Industrial Analysis

The Chips ‘N Chill Company analyzes a company's competitive

environment using the Porter's Five Forces Framework. The analysis is

further discussed in the chart below.

Because spinach is available throughout the year, the supplier has low
SUPPLIER bargaining power. As a result, the supplier cannot simply limit supply or
POWER raise prices. Furthermore, other ingredients are always accessible on
the market.

Even if the product is uncommon and only a few companies

BUYER offer it elsewhere across the nation, the Company nevertheless
POWER wants to bring it to our local market. Hence, the analysis reveals
that there is an average amount of bargaining power.

There is an average rivalry among the rivals. There are few

EXISTING companies that offer this kind of product elsewhere, but our
COMPETITOR company wants to introduce this to the local market. As a
result, the company has a good chance of dominating the
market.

Spinach and other ingredients are usually available in the market

THREATS
OF
and fairly priced. And, since the process is simple to follow, there
SUBSTITUTE is a high possibility that it will be substituted. However, our
product's flavor and quality remain distinct.

There is a large chance that potential entrants will enter the market due
POSSIBILITY to the product's delicacy and rarity. Moreover, because the startup
OFNEW costs are low and the products can be sold off as "homemade," there is
ENTRANTS
also a high possibility of starting this kind of business these days.

on social media. As a result, the goods will be sold on social networking sites

as well. Any method of payment will be accepted, including cash and internet

banking.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 15

Marketing Concept

The goal is to create an environment that benefits both the consumer

and the company. The organization thinks that wealth is synonymous with

health. The customer feels that health is wealth. As a result, the company will

make nutritious chips in return for profit while also providing consumers with

healthy snacks.

Societal Concept

Chips ‘N Chills is environmentally friendly. The company promotes

recycling, energy conservation, and even charitable donations. As previously

stated, the recycled plastics from the company's garbage will be converted

into plastic chairs, which will then be donated to a daycare center and a

school. Nevertheless, Chips ‘N Chills is always committed to serve the

public.

The Target Market

Crispynach is suitable for anyone aged 4 and up, from the middle and

lower classes, including those who do not normally consume green leaves or

vegetables. Since it is located on mall, it can also be bought as “pasalubong”

for the tourists. This is also a great snack for those movie lovers who are fan

of cinemas.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 16

The Geographic and Demographic Profile

C&C Company will offer its product through numerous social media

sites, as well as supermarkets and convenience stores. This product is halal

certified and suitable for people of all genders and religions. Furthermore, the

company's major target market is all General Santos City residents. But,

Figure 1. The Market Share

The chart above represents the company's market share in the

business industry. Using the market share formula of Company Sales

divided by Entire Market Sales (who also sells chips) the company only

obtained 10.18% of the total market and finished third in the sector. Fast

food restaurants provided not just snacks but also meals and beverages,

which is why they are ranked first. Furthermore, street foods, have built

their establishments when it comes to affordable snacks.   As an outcome,

they held the second largest market share. And for online business in food

particularly, it ranked last because face to face are now available and

people nowadays prefer on walk-ins rather than ordering online.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 18

Players in the Market

Customers

The Chips ‘N Chills Company divides its customers into two

categories: major and minor. The concern that the Company may have with

major consumers is that they may expect large discounts, coupons, and

special treatment. Meanwhile, minor consumers buy less but are still

significant in the company because they can buy a lot in bulk.

Suppliers

Major suppliers are crucial for daily delivery, and a problem with them

might result in delays or product quality concerns due to the large number of

purchases made by other businesses. Meanwhile, minor suppliers are good,

but the problem is that the company cannot place as many orders as

they would want because the supply is insufficient to meet the company's

manufacturing standards.

Complementors

There are also non-competing enterprises that will boost the

company’s sales in general. Because our product is snacks, businesses who

make souvenirs, beverages, and delicacies can engage with us. It will assist

the company in extending the market, which will encourage complementors

to support the company more, which can weaken the competitors.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 19

Competitors

The company's competitors are those who also sell Vegetable Chips.

However, these businesses do not exist in the company's direct vicinity.

Interacting with this organization may have undesirable consequences.

Hence, the company will simply concentrate on how we provide better chips

than the other manufacturer. However, C & C is constantly open to new

alternatives and opportunities for collaboration.

Products and Services available in the market

The Chips ‘N Chills Company produced the most innovative, tasty,

and unique form of chip that will capture the customer's curiosity and leave

them wondering what the taste is. Because malunggay, cassava, spinach,

and saluyot are healthy and inexpensive vegetables, the company comes up

with the idea of turning them into snacks rather than serving them as meals.

This snack is ideal for eating while watching movies, chatting with friends, or

as a merienda or midnight snack. This is also better for vegans that are chips

lovers or for those are losing weight, since Cripsynach is low in saturated fat.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 20

THE MARKETING MIX

The People

The Chips ‘N Chills Company valued its people because they are the

company's most valuable asset. They are responsible for turning the

company's plan into reality and ensuring that the business remains

operational. A skilled and well-trained employee contributes significantly to

the achievement of business goals and objectives. Thus, the Company will

offer seminars and workshops in order to boost employee productivity by

boosting their skills and talents in making the product known to the market.

The Product

Crispynach is a new product that aspires to claim a new place in the

minds of consumers by offering products that differ from those offered by

existing businesses. It is an innovative chip that uses various types of

ingredients and different methods of production than other products on the

market. While the product is new, a larger marketing method must be

focused in order for the product to be exposed in the public.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTANCY 21

The Brand Name

"Crispynach” is an easy - to - remember and well-explained product

name. The combination of the word Crispy + Spinach, created its brand

the tools and equipment. The demand for the product is expected to grow at
