ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

The “Project 3K” or Project Kalingawan, Kasadyahan, Kauswagan is an initiative started


by the BTS or Barangay Talauguis Squad with the undersigned serving as the coordinator and
adviser to promote happier and healthier lifestyle among the residents of Barangay Talauguis,
Zarraga, Iloilo. It aims to conduct cultural activities expecially during the annual Barangay Fiesta
on the 19th of March and hold sports activities during summer season.

For five (5) years, the Project 3K spearheaded the fund-raising activities for the barangay
through cultural actvities such as the Miss Kalawakan 2018, Search for the Reynanay 2019,
Search for the Barangay Fiesta Queen and Benefit Dance from 2017 to 2019. Activities for the
year 2020 were cancelled due to the COVID 19 protocols and restrictions.

The Project 3K through the raised fund, purchased 25 pcs monoblock chairs and 1 roll of
tarp. These items were used by the locals in various activities such as simple family gathering,
wakes, meetings, masses, and other form of celebrations.

The Project 3K being the frontline of sports-related activities especially for the youth
purchased volleyball nets, balls, and rehabilitated the barangay court in order to be safe and apt
for playing outdoor games such as ball games. The Project 3K also initiated friendly sports
competition during summer breaks in order to create long lasting friendships, to develop
sportmanships and to raise awareness on healthy lifestyle.

With its tagline, Kalingawan, Kasadyahan, and Kauswagan, the project commits to fully support
Barangay Talauguis in making a happy and progressive barangay.
