Madam:
In response to the job openings that Mariano Marcos State University is offering that I
have seen on a post by the university official FB page, I would like to apply for the job
position of Infirmary Nurse.

I obtained my BS in Nursing degree as Cum Laude at Mariano Marcos State

University, with long-standing reputation for excellence in nursing education and practice. I
passed my Philippine Licensure Examination with a rating of 87.45% which landed me into
the Top 8. After passing, I was hired immediately as a staff nurse in Makati Medical Center, a
recognized tertiary hospital in the country. At my first work experience, I honed my nursing
skills particularly in medication administration, infection control and aseptic procedures,
managing records, supplies and equipment, providing health education to patients and
families and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care
delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. For this reason, it provides a firm
foundation for the job.

I decided to come home to Ilocos Norte to proceed to my further education. I started

my Master of Arts in Nursing program this semester at your own beloved institution, MMSU.
Then I looked forward working on the University infirmary. I would love the opportunity to
bring my excellent patient care and profound nursing knowledge to work here. I am confident
that the institution would find my training and experience in nursing to be a valuable asset. I
would be thrilled to transition these skills to an educational environment. I will take great
pride in promoting student healthcare and establishing a safe environment for students and
staff members.

I truly appreciate your valuable time and attention. The resume shares further
information about my academic records and professional history. Thank you very much!

Best regards,

LYCA MAE M. AURELIO

Madam:
Through this letter, I would like to inform you that my US Employment-Based
Immigration Visa has been approved giving me permanent residency in the USA to work as a
nurse. This letter is therefore intended to be my formal resignation from my post as a
infirmary nurse effective 1 month from now. My last day of employment would be December
20, 2027

Working as a university infirmary nurse for more than two years has been a rewarding
experience. I take great pride in promoting student healthcare and establishing a safe
environment for students and staff members. I believe the experience I have gained during
my stay here will serve me well as I progress in my career overseas, for which I am forever
grateful.

I look forward to the opportunities that await me, however, I will truly miss the
amazing colleagues I have been fortunate to know here. Thank you and I wish you all the
best!

Sincerely,

LYCA MAE M. AURELIO
