JUSTIFICATION OF THE PROJECT
The expected outcome of the coastal clean-up drive is for the people to introduce and
become aware of the importance of proper waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in the
area. The prospect of the clean-up drive project focuses on the engagement of waste
segregation, removing trash and debris from beaches, waterways, and other water bodies to
identify the sources of the litter and to change behaviors that cause pollution. People can
segregate biodegradable products, apply the 3Rs and implement the "clean and green"
concept in order to have a safe environment.
METHODOLOGY
For the coastal clean-up drive to run effectively, the group will assign members to
plan, survey, and document.
During the initiation of the program, members of the group who are responsible for
planning the project will manage the materials and set up the venue. If they have prepared the
important details, they will be the ones to follow up with the other group members.
The survey members of the group are responsible for designing surveys, gathering
information, and giving lectures. They serve as the group’s source of relations with the
participants of the community. Every time the group visits and implements the project, they
must capture the data. They are urged to present a progress or development report at the
conclusion of each phase of the program.
