Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for managing operation and support functions for Data Center.
Work closely with Operations Co-Ordinator, M & E Manger and Customer Service Manager to provide IT
infrastructure operation, sustain, and delivery services.
Manage and lead Customer Support Manager, M & R Manager, and Quality & Design Manager.
To be prepared to work as customer facing role with application support and service delivery as the key
function.
Take ownership of the entire life-cycle of incidents, from tracking, monitoring to escalation and resolution
of all incidents until closure.
Manage the daily process of production support and incidents management.
Leading a team of support managers, analysts and engineers to provide Level 1 to 3 application support
activities for group based applications in different domains on a 24x7 basis.
To ensure customer services such as Power, Cooling and Security accordance to the Service Level
Agreement (SLA).
To Ensure the enforcement of safety policies and procedures for both direct-hire and contracted services.
To work with R&D Manager to prepare and estimate the annual operating budget, forecast utility cost,
compute service and ancillary charges, study refurbishment plans and manage the procurement of works
and services.
To Ensure Operations Co-Ordinator role to manage : Drafter & Operations Admin, To Ensure DC Manager
role to manage : Engineering & Network Eng and Facility Manager role to manage : Technician Support
and Helpdesk Support
Qualifications and skill experience:
The candidate must have leadership skills, self-motivated, and committed to successful completion of
deliverables in a timely manner.
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years’
relevant experience in M&E engineering including HT/LT electrical installations, air-conditioning plants,
mechanical ventilation system, building automation systems, cost and expenditure management, etc.
Possess good understanding of the relevant Authority Regulations, Building Codes of Practices, good
communication, report writing and IT skills.
A registered Professional Engineer with the IEEE or similar professional bodies. Licensed Electrical
Engineer (with High Tension switching) with the Energy Market Authority would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Ability to read and analyze Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural blue print.
Capable to manage priority work, do multiple tasks and work under pressure
