Lunch will be provided. Students will participate in activities at the school for the entire day. Grade 9 students
are reminded to bring lock as you will be assigned a locker.

Course Changes:
A Google form to request your changes will be available on the Guidance Google Classroom on Monday
September 11th. Guidance counsellors will be processing requests during this week and will reach out to
students regarding their requests. Please ensure that all students follow their current timetable until they hear
from their guidance counsellor.

LOCKERS
REMINDER All students bring a lock (combination lock preferred) for your locker on the first day of school.
Lockers will be assigned to students via their home room teacher during the first days of the school year.
SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION
Bussing information for the 2022-2023 school year is available via the Parent/Student portal. Heart Lake SS is

ATTENDANCE
Parents/Guardians are asked to call the school and leave a message for student absences. To report an
absence, please call 905-840-2328, press 1, to access the attendance line and provide the student’s name,
student number and reason for absence. Parents/Guardians can also sign up with the Parent Connect at
ParentConnect - Peel Board Office Site ([Link]).
STUDENT ACTIVITY FEE
The Student Activity Fee for 2023-2024 will be: $30 to be paid via School Cash Online
