TRAFFIC- Refers to the movement of persons, good, and vehicles

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT- is the executive function such as
planning, organizing, directing, supervising, coordinating, operating,
recording, and budgeting traffic affairs.
TRAFFIC SIGNS – a device mounted on portable support where the
image is convey by means of work or symbol, officially erected or
installed for the purpose of regulated warning or guiding traffic.

FIXED TIME SIGNALS- Traffic control signals by which traffic is


alternately commanded to stop and permitted to proceed in accordance
with a predetermined time schedule.

TRAFFIC LIGHT SIGNALS- A power operated traffic control device


by which traffic is warned and directed to take some specific action.

ENFORCEMENT- the action taken by the police such as arresting,


issuing traffic citation ticket as warning to the erring drivers for the
purpose of deterring and discouraging or preventing such violation.

ENGINEEERING- the science of measuring traffic and travel, the


study of basic laws relative to the traffic flow and generation, and the
application of this knowledge to the professional practice of planning
and operating traffic system to achieve safe and efficient movement of
persons and goods.
EDUCATION- the process of giving training and travel and practices in
the actual application of traffic safety knowledge therefore education is
very important for the drivers

STIMULATED SYSTEM- all signals along the given street always

responsibilities, requiring the application of the various traffic law
enforcement and designed to;
