VI. Rationale : The passage of the RA 10121, known as the


Philippine
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act
of 2010 mandated the DSWD as the Vice-Chair
for Disaster Response Pillar of the NDRRMC.
The DSWD aims to help the Local Government
Units to ensure the protection of the local camp
population by mainstreaming protection in all
camp activities.

VII. Objectives : This three (3) day activity aims the LGU to:

(1) Assess the vulnerabilities of the area and its


constituents,
(2) Instill basic knowledge of natural disasters
and the
possible impacts,
(3) Conduct an information and education
campaign (IEC) on
disaster mitigation,
(4) Coordinate with officials in charge of
planning,
construction, health,
(5) Ensure safe, secure, and accessible
evacuation centers or
temporary shelters for emergencies and
disasters.

VIII. Budgetary Requirements: Php __________ per head x 27 pax for 3 days

VI. Rationale : The Sustainable Livelihood Program, also


known as SLP, is a
community-based program, which provides
capacity building to Local Government Units to
improve the program participants’ socio-
economic status.
VII. Objectives : This two (2) day activity aims to:
1) To improve the socio-economic capacity of
the LGU through a micro-enterprise
development and employment facilitation
program that shall ultimately provide a
sustainable income source ;

2) To facilitate opportunities for the LGU micro-


enterprise development through social
preparation, capacity building and resource
provision activities;

3) To facilitate the linkage to of LGU


employment opportunities through social
preparation, capacity building and labor-
market networking;

` 4) To link the participants to support services


and programs of different partners, including
but not limited to NGAs, CSOs and private
institutions;

5)To improve the LGU beneficiaries’ capacity to


avail of the products and services of different
financing institutions, including but not limited
to credit, savings and micro-insurance;

VIII. Budgetary Requirements: PhP 550.00 per head x 25 pax for 2 days

II. Place : Municipal Evacuation Center

III. Date : November 27, 2023

V. Target Participants : All public and private school student


government presidents, teacher advisers,
MSWDO staff, MLGOO and staff.

VI. Rationale : A child representative, aged 10-15 years and


member of an
children’s organization in the barangay (village),
shall serve as
the delegate of the children’s sector in the Local
Council for the
Protection of Children.

He/she will also convene a children’s association


within the barangay to deliberate on and
prioritize children’s issues that will be brought to
the council for deliberation.

The child representative shall also be tasked to


get evidence-based data and information that
will substantiate the priority issues of children,
and develop a children’s agenda folder for each
issue.

He/she shall also seek support from child-


focused non-government organizations for more
clarification on proposed children’s agenda that
he/she will present to the LCPC for appropriate
legislative action.

VII. Objectives : This one (1) day activity aims to:


1) To convene all the student government
presidents of each schools to have an
election for the LCPC Child Representative
2) To discuss the United Nations Convention of
the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
3) To discuss RA 7610 or the "Special
Protection of Children Against Abuse,
Exploitation and Discrimination Act."
VIII. Budgetary Requirements: P 350.00 per head x 70 pax for 1 day
Total: P 24,500.00

IX. Source of Funds : GAD Plan and Budget 2023

X. Recommendation :

Women” a five-year approach and endeavour
geared towards
the “elimination of all forms of violence
against women
and girls everywhere.”

additional strategies in teaching 3-4 years
old children in preparation for the resume of
