A. Introductory Activity
The teacher prepares an action song “If you’re happy and you know”

If you’re happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands. (clap, clap)

B. Activity
The teacher will give spelling test from the action song by group.
Spelling Words:

C. Analysis
The teacher will ask some questions from the spelling words
[T] What did you do earlier? ([P] We clap, sing, dance and etc.)

D. Abstraction
[T] What do we call the things that we did? ([P] Those are called action words.)
The teacher will discuss the action words.

The teacher will instruct the class to sing a song about the verbs in the tune of
“The more we get together”
Skill : Identify and perform some action words in a given song.
Directions : Do the action as the whole class sing this song about verbs.
