English Verbs for Grade 3 Students

The lesson plan aims to teach students about verbs. It includes an introductory activity where students sing and act out different verbs. Next, students are tested on spelling verbs from the song. They analyze the activity by discussing the verbs and actions they performed. Students then learn that action words are also called verbs. To reinforce this, students sing another song that lists different verbs and the actions they represent. Finally, students complete an assessment that involves identifying verbs in sentences and pictures.
