I. Objective:
1. Applied the ways in conducting a simple research in market trends and demands in preserved/processed foods.
2. Apply the ways in assessing a preserved/processed foods as to the quality using rubrics.
Subject Matter: Simple Research to Determine the Market Trends of Preserved/Processed Foods
 Materials Needed – Module 7, powerpoint presentation
II. Procedure
A. Review/ Preparatory Write T if the statement is true and F if the statement is false through power point.
Activity/ Motivation 1. Packaging should be colorful and presentable.
2. Containers of household linens could either be a plastic or paper.

B. Presentation and How do we determine the market demands and trends?


Discussion of the Lesson Discuss the lesson in What is It in the module
This is being done by some groups to know the people at a specific period which
is survey. It is the same way for determining market trends or demands. A survey
is conducted to know the people feel what they want etc. Based on the results of
the survey, you will know the preference of their market.

C. Generalization What is a survey?


Survey is a data collection tool for research.

D. Application You will be conducting a survey on the current market demands and trends of
food preserved/processed in your community.
Before starting, ask yourselves:
• Why am I conducting the survey?
• What do I want to know?
• What question needs to be answered?

E. Enrichment What are the things needed in conducting a survey?
