Autumn
Let’s go outdoors. Look. What season is it? In spring, you can see lots of baby animals and insects.
It’s autumn! What can you see?
What’s the weather like in autumn? Look, there’s a snail. It’s on the leaf.
Sometimes, it’s windy. Sometimes, it’s rainy. And look, another insect!
Can you see the umbrellas? Do you like rain? What is it? It’s red and black. It’s a ladybird!

In autumn, the leaves change colour. In spring, we play outdoors at school.


Look at the trees and the leaves. What colours can you see? She’s got a ball. Let’s play football!
The leaves are beautiful! In spring, we play in the garden at home.
In autumn, we can see lots of fruit on the trees. Sometimes, we help in the garden.
Can you see the apples? Do you like apples? Look, that’s my grandma … and my grandpa.
We plant vegetables. We water the flowers.
In autumn, we go back to school. Plants and flowers grow in the spring.
Some children walk to school. Some children come by car.
Some children ride bikes to school. In spring, we’re happy.
Some children ride scooters! It’s not cold, and we go outdoors. We don’t need coats!
How do you come to school? Let’s go to the park!
What do you do in spring?
In autumn, we go to the shops.
We buy new clothes, new bags and new books for school. Summer
The shops are busy! Let’s go outdoors. Look. What season is it?
In autumn, we play outdoors at school. It’s summer!
We play games and we play football. It’s fun. What’s the weather like in summer?
What do you do in autumn? It’s hot, and it’s sunny. Sometimes we need sunglasses!

Winter In summer, the trees and the flowers grow.


Let’s go outdoors. Look. What season is it? Look at the beautiful flowers.
It’s winter! And everything is green: green trees, green leaves, green
What’s the weather like in winter? grass.
Sometimes, it’s snowy. Do like snow?
Sometimes, it’s icy. Look at the ice. It’s cold! In summer, lots of fruit grows. We can pick fruit.
Look at the children. What have they got?
In winter, sometimes there’s ice on the leaves. Strawberries! They’re picking strawberries. And eating
strawberries, yum!
Look at the ice. It’s beautiful.
Sometimes, the leaves fall off the trees. Look, no leaves.
In summer, we see lots of insects. What can you see?
In winter, it’s cold. We put on coats, hats, gloves and boots.
Look at that flower. Can you see the bee?
Then we play outdoors in the snow. It’s fun!
And look, there are ants. They’re very small.

We can make a snowman. Look – a body and a head.


In summer, we see birds and animals, too.
In winter, we go to the cafe.
Look at the ducks. Look at the swans. They like the water.
We drink hot chocolate and we eat cakes – yum!
In summer, it’s hot – and children like the water, too!
What do you do in winter?
We go to the beach. We play in the sand.
Spring
Let’s go outdoors. Look. What season is it? It’s spring! Sometimes we play in the sand at school. Look, it’s fun.
What’s the weather like in spring? In summer we eat outdoors. We have picnics.
Sometimes, it’s sunny. The sun helps the flowers and the We have a drink when it’s hot.
