Project Brief Description: Major components of project are 54.5m high Asphalt
Concrete faced Rock fill structure with gated Spillways, Underground excavation of
Powerhouse and Transformer hall, 23.4km Headrace tunnel.
Activities performed:
Planning and resource allocation of crew and Equipment.
Management of tunnel face excavation using Drill and Blast Method.
Conduct tunnel support work as per site condition.
Identification of safety hazards for safe working environment and smooth progress.
Monitoring of Geotechnical instrumentation at Dam site and tunnels slopes.
Geological mapping and probe drilling, preparing daily face mapping and 50m sheets.
Method statement writing with team and communication with OEs and Client.
Preparation of reports, Milestones and daily and monthly progress report.
Coordination with Design and Management and consultant team for solving site issues.
Manage bulk excavation and transfer raw material to rehabilitate flood affected area.
