How to start using
SafeEntry for Business
Using SafeEntry for Business Mobile App (iOS/Android)
Step 1: Download the SafeEntry (Business) Mobile Apps:

Step 2: Enter your mobile number to log in
Note:
If you encounter an error that says
“Log in failed too many times”,
please wait 3 minutes and then try again
Enter your mobile number and click on “Send OTP”
to receive a SMS One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to the
mobile number
Using SafeEntry for Business Mobile App (iOS/Android)
Step 3: Enter the One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to your mobile number
Note:
You should receive an SMS with an OTP to use for log in.
If you do not receive an OTP, you can request for a new
one by clicking the button.
You can only request for OTPs once every minute
Enter SMS OTP and click “Submit”
Click “Resend OTP” if you did not receive your OTP

Step 4: Enter branch code to start scanning visitors
Note:
You will receive your branch code after setting up your
branch.
Don’t know where to find the code? Ask your
management or admin to log onto this link:
[Link]
Enter the branch code provided to you.
Give a name to the entrance or exit where staff will
be scanning visitor NRICs. e.g. “Front entrance”.
When complete, click “Submit” to start checking in
visitors.

Step 5: Select a traffic flow. Choose between “Entry (Check-in)” or “Exit (Check-out)” and start scanning
How to select a traffic flow:
Click on “Switch mode” if you need to change from “Entry
(Check-in)” to “Exit (Check-out)” modes.
Use “Entry (Check-in)” to scan visitors entering the location.
Select “Exit (Check-out)” to scan visitors leaving the location.
Step 1) Click on "Switch
Mode" to toggle “Check-in”
Note: In order for visitor count to be accurate, you will need to set
or “Check-out” setup
up “Scan Exit” to check out visitors leaving the location.

Step 6: Use the “Scan customer’s NRIC” or “Manual Input Mode” to capture worker/authorised personnel ID details

Step 7: Use the “Enter NRIC manually” mode when you are unable to successfully scan a barcode
If an NRIC barcode cannot be
scanned and you are
prompted with an error,
please use the “Enter NRIC
manually” section instead to
capture the ID details.
You may also use this section Enter “NRIC
to capture the passport manually” section
number of Foreign ID holders.

1) GREEN: When the visitor entry is successfully recorded, you will see a
confirmation in green along with the last 3-digits of the NRIC.

If your business has enabled crowd restrictions, you will see the following error on SafeEntry for Business
2) RED: Visitor not permitted to enter today
If a visitor is not allowed to enter based on the odd/even NRIC
restriction, an alert will notify you that that they are not permitted to
enter today.
If you allow the visitor to enter the premises, select “Check in anyway”
to capture their NRIC for contact tracing.
Only select Deny entry if the visitor does not enter the premises.

Step 1: Enter your mobile number to log in
Note:

Step 4: After log in, you will find the visitor count on your homepage
Note:
The total visitor count is based on the total number of
visitor check-ins that have been registered through
SafeEntry.
Visitor count
This count will not be accurate if you have not
implemented the check-out flow.
