Following directions is a basic life skill that all of us should learn and be well-trained.
A. Why is it necessary to follow directions?
1. It improves our sense of self-discipline.
Following directions is like being obedient to rules and regulations. Yet, we will not only
develop the value of obedience; we will also cultivate our sense of self-discipline.

While this road map is being displayed on your screen, questions will be asked orally
regarding the directions and locations of various landmarks and important places
found within the SSAM campus. Answer each of the questions accurately. As soon as
you are ready to answer, raise your virtual hand and wait until you are called to recite.

2. Read and Do Test
Open the activity sheet that will be sent to you in the MS Teams via the Assignment
tab. Everybody starts following the instructions at the same time, so wait until
everybody has opened the activity sheet. Make sure to read first all the instructions
before doing them.
3. Filling Out Form
Click the link to the MS Forms about the student personal information sheet which
will be sent to you during the synchronous session. Accomplish it quickly and
accurately. Rest assured that it will be treated with strict confidentiality.

4. Family Hopscotch
Piko or hopscotch is a traditional Filipino game that is played by two or more players
using a small stone or “pamato”. There are 9 or 10 boxes drawn on a flat surface. The
first player tosses the “pamato” into the first box and hops on one foot into the next
set of boxes. If he/she misses, his/her opponents take their turn. Piko is not just a
physical game but also a mental workout. As a family, play the Piko game and follow
the given instructions below. Document your game by taking pictures and by posting
some of them on the lesson channel. Remember to follow the instructions carefully.

a. Draw a hopscotch design on the ground.
b. Throw a flat stone or similar object (small beanbag, shell, button, plastic toy) to
land on square one.
c. Hop through the squares, skipping the one you have your marker on.
d. Pick up the marker on your way back.
e. Pass the marker on to the next person. Your goal is to complete the course with
the marker on each square. The first person to do this wins the game

God teaches us to be obedient and asks us to follow His instructions
through The Ten Commandments.
The Ten Commandments for Kids:

2) Worship only God; you should not have any idols.
3) Always treat God's name with respect.
4) Have a day to rest and thank God every week.
5) Obey your parents.
6) Do not hurt others with words or actions.
7) Keep your promises to others and God.
8) Do not steal from others.
9) Always tell the truth.
10) Do not be envious of others.
