II. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

History

Banana bread first became a prominent feature of American cookbooks with the

popularity of baking soda and baking powder in the 1930s. The banana bread fad was born

from the union of ripe bananas and baking powder. It first featured in Pillsbury's 1933

Balanced Recipes cookbook and gained popularity with the 1950 release of the original

Chiquita Banana's Recipe Book.

Banana bread is bread which is produced from smashed bananas. Some banana bread

recipes are traditional-style raised breads, while others are moist, sweet, cake-like fast breads.

Banana bread is available in various of flavors, including banana raisin bread, banana nut

bread, chocolate chip banana bread, banana bread muffins, vegan banana bread, and

blueberry banana bread. Banana cake is well-known for its signature sweet flavor and

delicate interior. The addition of baking soda as a leavening agent is another distinguishing

aspect of banana bread. In this recipe, baking soda is used to help the dish rise in the oven.

Some food historians claim banana bread was created as a result of the Great

Depression by enterprising housewives who did not want to waste overripe bananas, while

others believe the modern banana bread was created in corporate kitchens to sell flour and

baking soda goods. It could potentially be a hybrid of both hypotheses, in that it was created

in a corporate kitchen to promote flour and baking soda products while simultaneously being

advertised as a way to use up overripe bananas.

Structure of the Business

The business is organized as a general partnership. A general partnership (GP) is an

agreement between two individuals to form and operate a firm jointly. This is a sort of

business arrangement in which two or more individuals agree to share the business's assets,

profits, and obligations. Moreover, general partnerships allow participants to structure a

company anyway they like, allowing partners to exercise greater control over operations. This

enables more decisive and rapid management in comparison to businesses.

Finance Equity Consideration

Every company is reliant on its financial stability. When it comes to raising capital,

our team prefers equity financing. In exchange for the funds we need to grow our firm, we

will give investors share of the company. With equity financing, the company does not have

to take on debt. The equity investor, in addition to being a creditor, also becomes a

shareholder. Naturally, if the business succeeds, the owner will not receive all of the benefits;

instead, the equity investor will earn a portion of the profits.

Description Risk

Issues or problems may arise during the company's service. There is a chance some risk

during the processing of banana bread. Banana farms were densely packed, had low fertility,

and were particularly vulnerable to climate extremes such as droughts, storms, and typhoons.

Since there is just one type of banana is grown for export, these farms are extremely sensitive

to pests and diseases. People must comprehend and be aware of not only the problems and

complexities that small banana farmers encounter, but also the rewards that can result from

perseverance and collaboration.
