The following pages show the environmental requirements necessary for the safe and proper
operation of the CELL-DYN 1200 System. Please verify that your environment meets these
requirements and check off each item in the checkbox provided.

The drain must be suitable for disposal of biohazardous and/or chemical wastes.
If using the lab drain, make sure the instrument waste port is located within 40 inches (102 cm) of

this drain. Standard waste tubing length is 54 (140 cm) inches and should be fixed to the drain.
Do not lengthen the waste tubing because the syringe pump cannot efficiently move the waste
beyond 4½ feet (1.4 meters).
