Salesforce Multifactor Authenticator
The global threat landscape is constantly evolving, and the types of attacks that can cripple a business and exploit consumers are on the
rise. It's more important than ever to implement stronger security measures. Which is why we're announcing a future requirement for all
customers to enable MFA. MFA is one of the easiest, most effective tools for enhancing login security, and safeguarding your business and
data against security threats.
MFA is an effective way to increase protection for user accounts against common threats like phishing attacks, credential stuffing, and
account takeovers. It adds another layer of security to your login process by requiring users to enter two or more pieces of evidence —
or factors — to prove they’re who they say they are.
By February 1st, 2022 all salesforce users will be required to complete the following salesforce security
guidelines utilizing the salesforce authenticator app
Starting January 10th Daikin Latin America users will be prompted to follow the steps in this manual. This will be
rolled out in a sequential manner for groups of users.

Step by Step Process
Step 1: Download the Salesforce Authenticator App into your Cell Phone
Go to Google Store or App Store → Scan the QR codes below → Install and Open the App
Or
You can search for “Salesforce Authenticator” in the store and please make sure to install Salesforce Authenticator only as there are many similar applications.

Step 3: Log into your Salesforce CRM account:

Step 5: In your cell phone:
Salesforce Authenticator App will request you to input your cell phone number
Step 6: SMS message sent to your Cell Phone with link

Step 7: In the Salesforce Authenticator
→ Add your Salesforce Account

Step 8: SF Auth will provide a two-word phrase
➔ Enter the two-word phrase in the Desktop screen:

Step 9: You will be displayed this screen:
Once you enter the two-word phrase you will be logged into your SF account.
Step 10: You can close your Salesforce Authenticator App in your Cell Phone

Then log out in the link next to your username.
Close and re-open your Salesforce Authenticator App
