ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Reaching to unreached is the main objective of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University,
Prayagraj. It was established on November 2,1998 and is the only state open university in
Uttar Pradesh and has been graded B+ recently by the NAAC. The jurisdiction of university
is entire Uttar Pradesh with 12 regional centres and having more than 1300 study centres.
University has embossed a niche for itself among the premier academic institutions of
open learning and distance education. University conducts its academic activities through
open and distance mode, and functions in cooperation with the existing universities,
colleges and institutions of higher education .
ABOUT PRAYAGRAJ
Allahabad is now officially known as Prayagraj, is a city located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Reminiscent of all that is spiritual and sacred in Hinduism, Allahabad is famous for Triveni
Sangam confluence of three rivers - the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati. Kumbh
Mela organised at the Sangam is now Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, declared
by UNESCO. Prayagraj is one of the traditional cities of the world having enriched with
splendid history in the arena of religion, politics, independence, academia and judiciary as
well.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
India is striving for the aspirations of the people to bring meaningful change in lives of all
and at the same time strongly advocate, practice and propagate the ideas of sustainable
way of life. Inclusion, synergises different strategies and pathways of actions in Nation
building whereas sustainability is the Future. The two days conference aims at exploring
different approaches of ‘Inclusion and Sustainability’ and is a platform to discuss, debate,
deliver and aggregate the impacts of various schemes and programmes in governance.
The essential avenues of the conference include- SDG Dialogue, Indian Diaspora,
Heritage Management Entrepreneurship, Management, Economics, Innovation, Tourism
and Hospitality, Education, Advantage Geographies, Demography and Public Policy etc.
The conference is an effort to create a platform for dialogue of eminent personalities at
local, national and global level.
