ACADEMIC RULES
To ensure consistent delivery of quality technical-vocational education and training
services through the Competency-based Education and Training Mode of following Academic
Rules was created:
TRAINING DELIVERY
The delivery of training should adhere to the design of the curriculum. Delivery should
be guided by the 10 basic principles of competency-based TVET.
1. The training is based on curriculum developed from the competency standards;
2. Learning is modular in its structure;
3. Training delivery is individualized and self-paced;
4. Training based on work that must be performed;
5. Training materials are directly related to the competency standards and the curriculum
modules;
6. Assessment is based in the collection of evidence of the performance of work to

8. Allows for recognition of prior learning (RPL) or current competencies;
9. Training allows for multiple entry and exit; and
10. Approved training program are Nationally Accredited.
ACADEMIC RULES
The work/project/exercise of trainees should be graded at the end of each module in
accordance with the following system:

APPEALS AND COMPLAINTS RESOLUTION PROCEDURES
POLICY AIMS:
The TRAINING CENTER has a duty of care in ensuring that students study in a happy
environment, free of coercion, unfair treatment or harassment. Any circumstances cause by a
fellow student, staff member, or issue with the TRAINING CENER in general, which affect eh
well-being of any student, will be dealt with in a professional manner by the TRAINIG CENTER
according to established procedures.
The TRAINING CENTER endeavors to create a positive learning environment for
students, one in which each student has the opportunity to achieve their personal best.
Part of the maintenance of that positive environment is a fair and open complaint and
appeals procedure made available to all students.
The TRAINING CANTER has put in place a policy and procedures to address such
issues as part of its quality service for student. In compliance with access and equity principles
this procedures in made available to all student and staff.
SMOKING POLICY
The TRAINING CENTER maintains a smoke free environment. Smoking in he
workplace is a hazard to student, staff and visitors. Smoking within any area of the institution or
around the building entrance is prohibited.
CODE OF BEHAVIOR
POLICY AIM
Student are required to follow the code of behavior at all times. Failure to follow the code
of behavior may result in removal from the training. The code of behavior is as follows:
The CODE OF BEHAVIOR requires the following rights to be respected and adhered to
at all times by students:
The RIGHT to be treated with respect from others, to be treated fairly and without
discrimination, regardless of religious, cultural, racial and sexual differences, age,
disability or socio-economic status.
The RIGHT to be free from all forms of intimidation
The RIGHT to work in a safe, clean, orderly and cooperative environment.
The RIGHT to have personal property (including computer files and student work)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Trainees or students wishing to gain entry into this course should possess the following
requirement:
Able to read and write
Able to communicate
Basic Mathematical skills
Physically able
SUPPORT SERVICE
HEALTH SERVICES
Health service such as free medical check-up is available to trainees
In case of accident with severe/major illness, trainee will send free seminar on
good personality hygiene and first aid will be provided
Give first aid treatment to those who are ill and injured
Immediately to the nearest hospital/medical institution
JOB LINKAGE NETWORK SERVICES
Employment referrals through work/job matching will be conducted

contract workers for domestic workers or foreign jobs (upon arrival and releasing of the
CTPR, TVI’s and agency will have MOA)
