About Research Methodology Course (RMC)
The Research Methodology and Data Analysis course is a comprehensive and
intensive program designed to equip participants with the essential skills and
knowledge required for conducting high-quality research and analyzing data.
Covering a broad range of topics, the course includes fundamental research
concepts, research proposal writing, systematic literature reviews, hypothesis
testing, and advanced multivariate data analysis techniques like SEM and MGA.
It emphasizes the importance of ethical research practices and provides
hands-on training with essential software tools such as Excel, SPSS, and
SmartPLS. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, the
course prepares participants to conduct rigorous research and contribute
valuable insights to their respective fields.
The objective of the Course
The primary objective of this course is to empower participants with the
knowledge and skills necessary to plan, execute, and analyse research
effectively. The course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills
needed for effective research planning, execution, and analysis. By the end of
the course, participants will understand research fundamentals, develop
research proposals, identify gaps, design studies, analyse data, and explore
advanced statistical techniques. They will also receive hands-on training in
essential research software tools.

Eligibility Criteria
The course is meant only for research scholars currently pursuing their
M.Phil.- Ph.D./ Ph.D./PDF in social sciences disciplines in UGC-recognised
universities and research institutes across India who are eligible to apply.
Participants Intake
The intake for the course shall be a maximum of 30 (10 from local, 10 from
Telangana State other than local, and 10 from outside the Telangana State)
participants from social science disciplines.
Terms and Conditions
Those who have already attended any such program sponsored by ICSSR
or any other sponsored organisation should not apply. The selection of the
course will be made as per ICSSR guidelines. No leave of any kind is
permissible during the course period. Personal laptop is compulsory.
Registration Fees
There is no registration fee for the selected participants.
Accommodation & Travel Allowance
Accommodation will be provided to the outstation participants only.
Breakfast, Lunch and refreshments for all participants will be served.
Travel allowance by the shortest distance will be reimbursed to the
outstation participants only as per the ICSSR guidelines and subject to the
production of the original ticket(s) of Train (second /sleeper class) or
regular Bus fare subject to ICSSR norms for participant (to and fro). No
local conveyance would be reimbursed.

registration form (see last page) as well as the following documents
(the original registration form should be presented on the first day of
