I am writing to inform you about my complete dissatisfaction with the vacuum cleaner
listed above, which I purchased from your store on the 10 th of May, 2017. = good

On the day I bought it, your customer the person in charge of the customer service
demonstrated well that it was in good working condition.

On using it for the first time, it worked for a while but, out of the blue, it would stop. I
thought maybe I was pressing the wrong button or that the battery was flat.

Thus, I decided to charge it once more time. After a few hours, I unplugged it and I
pressed the “on” button. A green light lit up and it began to work.

Unfortunately, the hoover only ran for ten minutes, and then, it made a bizarre sound
and shut off automatically. I found that it was faulty because it lost its suction.

I have tried to contact the customer service several times but it only opens until 3 p.m.
and they are not available at the weekend.

I respectfully ask for a repair or a replacement of this faulty hoover within the next two
weeks.

I hope it will be solved soon, otherwise, I will ask for a full refund of the &69,26 retail
price.

It is believed that the increase in traffic is one of the situations that worries society
most nowadays, mainly in the centre of large cities such as London, Rome or Madrid,
where driving is getting more and more complicated. Roads have not been improved
for many years, in contrast, the number of vehicles has done nothing but expand. Now
is the moment for councils to address the issue and implement a final solution.

Firstly, we ought to start paying attention to public transport, the best alternative to
the use of cars, which is also an excellent solution to reduce pollution as the
more citizens use it, the less level of traffic there will be and consequently, the
cleaner the air will be.

Furthermore, another alternative to solve the traffic issue can be presented, and this is
road building. Some towns are building a bypass to relieve congestions in the city. It is
a costly solution but highly effective.

By and large, I believe that providing we actually wish to change our cities, we must
invest more public funds in infrastructures. Should we expect to increase the number
of citizens who use public transport, we need to upgrade its features, that is,
timetable extension, ticket price reduction, and so on. Only then could public
transport turn into a real rival of private transport.

The second idea is also effective so as to reduce traffic in cities, even though most of
them have no space to build new roads.
Seldom do I find a moment to go out; however, when I do have the opportunity to take some time out
of my hectic schedule, I like nothing more than spending an evening at a restaurant. Therefore, when I
heard of on the news that a new restaurant called “Delicatessen” had opened near where I live, I was
itching to go there. So last week I dropped by there with a friend so as to check it out. In this review I
would like to make some comments on my outstanding experience at “Delicatessen” in order to provide
your readership with a global view about what they are going to find there, as well as putting
forward some ideas which could be taken into consideration to enhance it.

In the first place, I would like to succinctly describe this restaurant in order to put you into context about
where I went. It is located in Wagner Street, just in the heart of the city and it is very well connected so
you can go by a lot of different ways. Although at first sight a lot of people could think that it is not a
good restaurant by its superficial appearance since it does not have luxurious salons or an infinite
waiting list either, the truth is that they would completely be barking up the wrong tree because they
would be forgetting of its spectacular glazed dining room from where you can enjoy a striking view
of the whole city, as well as its impressive cleanliness which become makes “Delicatessen” in one of the
most hygienic places where I have been to, and I thoroughly think that all these characteristics are much
more valuable and important for a restaurant than some of the stereotyped and predetermined
statements that many people spread unintelligently. In addition to this, I would like to point out the
joyful and energetic atmosphere that you can breathe there, as “Delicatessen” is always
overflowing happy people and just this environment invites you to have a good time.

From my private point of view, what I liked the best was the food. It was delicious and mouth-
watering and from the first moment you enter the restaurant you know by aromas
which waft from the kitchen and that make you lick your lips in anticipation that you are going to be
able to enjoy an appetizing and heavenly meal. Furthermore, the plates were incredibly full, so you can
eat to your heart’s content and it is impossible to leave “Delicatessen” hungry. Moreover, another
strength that I would like to highlight is the wonderful wide range of dishes they serve from the
traditional cooking to the most sophisticated cuisine. Last but not least, I would like to make a special
mention to the service, which who always had a smile on their faces and which who was very pleasant
and friendly. However, if I had to say a criticism it would be that it is rather expensive and,
consequently, there are might might be some people who cannot afford to go and I sincerely believe
that it is a pity that such splendid place is a luxury available to few, so my suggestion is that
you cheapen reduce the prices so as to become turn “Delicatessen” into a restaurant within everyone’s
reach.

In conclusion, although some critics state that “Delicatessen” is only a mediocre

and lacklustre local in where it is served what they consider to be is second -rate food that costs an arm
and leg and that they affirm it comes badly in comparison with other restaurants that there are in the
same location, I fully believe that it is a fantastic place which ticks all the right boxes and I genuinely
think that it is likely to be one of the best places in where I have to been to recently.
 -REPORT ABOUT THE SUMMER ENGLISH COURSE-

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this report is to evaluate the last Summer English Course (the last summer English
course), in which a group of 35 people were enrolled, giving suggestions for further editions
and various details that would have to be taken into consideration.

FACILITIES

This course was imparted in one of the main streets in this town, which makes it a perfect
location for the vast majority of people. Another point to stress is that related to the
classroom, specifically the size of it. In summer time, staying in a narrow space without enough
ventilation for a long time might well increase the sultry feeling amongst all of us.

LEARNING

The strongest points about the learning process come from the teacher’s origin. When
lessons are given by a native speaker, the quality of them rises hugely, concretely the
pronunciation, which is almost flawless. Another upside comes also from the nationalities of
the students students’ nationalities, who have different mother tongues. This cultural variety
means that the English language is the only way to be able to communicate one another, it
works as a pidgin language as it happens in real life.

ACTIVITIES

This course has been imparted on weekdays, every single day. Most attendants have to work
in the morning or simply they are studying a degree, course or workshop. In this perspective,
having a pile of homework to do might result quite suffocating for many of them. Despite all
the benefits described above, about native teachers, probably organising new social activities
could be considered as a must. In this way, the students shall be more relaxed and entertained
after the useful but dull grammar lessons.

CONCLUSION

To sum up, the most pressing need has to be the change of the current classroom to a bigger
one with air conditioning installed. I would also suggest, if the change were not possible, to
split the classroom into 2, obviously with less members in each room, so avoiding
an overcrowded class in which even breathing might be difficult . As I explained previously, the
learning process, as well as staff and material, is nearly outstanding. Nevertheless, the
physical place has to be urgently changed, to be able to assure future thriving editions of this
course.
