measurement is dependent upon the nature of the process.
In industrial process, measurement errors are often [Link] question of how
much error can be tolerated again depends on the nature of the [Link]

3.0 SUMMARY OF THEORY
3.1 Membrane (Diaphragm)Pressure Gauge
A diaphragm pressure gauge measures pressure by using the deflection of a
flexible membrane that Separates two environments,as shown in Figure [Link]
side of the diaphragm can be exposed to the atmosphere to measure gauge
pressure,or it can be sealed against a vacuum to measure absolute [Link]
diaphragm is typically made of metal or ceramic and can be clamped between
two flanges or [Link] pressure builds,it flexes the diaphragm, and the
resuling deflection can be converted into a dial measurement using gears and
linkages.
Figure 2:Operating Principle of Diaphragm Pressure Gauge:Link (A),Diaphragm(B),Pointer
(C), and Pressure Inlet (D)
Diaphragm pressure gauges have been widely used by various industries for
measuring both absolute and differential pressure in applications where high purity
is required, and for industries dealing with corrosive [Link] are commonly
used in industries such as food and
beverage,pharmaceutical,petrochemical,and mining.
3.2 Bellows Pressure Gauge
A pressure gauge that uses a single bellows can measure both vacuum and
gauge pressure relative to atmospheric [Link] gauge's pressure inlet
(labeled C in Figure 3)allows system media to flow into the [Link] the
media flows into the bellows (labeled B in Figure 3),the gauge measures low
pressure applications, while media flowing around the bellows measures high
pressure [Link] difference in pressure between the inside and outside
of the bellows causes it to expand or [Link] pointer (labeled A in Figure
3)is mechanically linked to the bellows and moves proportionally as the bellows
expands or contracts, indicating the media's [Link] prevent damage to
the bellows,it is typically spring- loaded, which limits its expansion.
5
SOLTEQ PRESSURE GAUGE CALIIBRATION BENCH (Model:FM01)
Figure 3:A Bellows Pressure Gauge with Components:Pointer (A),Bellows (B),and Inlet (C)
Due to their high accuracy and durability, these gauges are widely used in various
industrial and laboratory [Link] are particularly popular in applications
with system pressures that are low to intermediate, such as fluid power
systems,gas analysis,and process control.
3.3 Bourdon Pressure Gauge
A bourdon tube is a type of tube that is flattened and has a closed-end,shaped like
a C or a helix,as shown in Figure [Link] fluid pressure is applied to the inside
of the tube, the oval cross-section becomes more circular, causing the tube
to [Link] the fluid pressure disappears, the tube regains its original
shape. This change in shape creates a motion pattern at the free end of the
tube, which is then converted into a pointer rotation with the help of links and gears.
Figure 4:Bourdon Tube Working Schematic Showing the Applied Pressure (A)and Force
Developed (B)(middlle)
The bourdon tube pressure gauge is widely used in various applications that
require medium to high-pressure measurements, and it is the most commonly
used type of pressure [Link] is used in industries such as
chemical,HVAC, automotive, and aerospace for measuring pressure.
