NTI - Microsoft Windows Server Administration Project
Basic Requirements
Your team in the IT department at NTI organization just purchased new
servers and clients that have no operating system. The team decides to
install Windows Server 2022 Datacenter for servers and Windows 10 for
clients. Your team decides to implement new project for a web
application solution. Your task is to perform the installation and
configuration of this project as described in the following exhibit.

Advanced Requirements
1- Create DHCP Cairo scope:
I. Name: Cairo
II. Start IP address: 192.168.5.100
III. End IP address: 192.168.5.200
IV. Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
V. Default Gateway: 192.168.5.1
VI. Lease duration: 20 days
2- Configure DHCP failover between DC1 and DC2.
3- Implement a Network Load Balancing (NLB) cluster between
WEB1 and WEB2. The web server URL is HTTP://www.nti.local.
4- Implement password policy for all users except for Mostafa:
i. Enforce password history: 12 – Mostafa 24
ii. Maximum password age: 60 – Mostafa 30
iii. Minimum password age: 20 – Mostafa 20
iv. Minimum password length: 8 – Mostafa 12
v. Passwords must meet complexity requirements: True
vi. Store password using reversible encryption: False
5- User policies do not apply to servers and domain controllers OU.
6- Create users policy to prevent access to registry tools except for
Doaa.
7- Create policy to prevent use any USB devices for clients.
8- Create users policy to redirect documents folder to \\DC1\Docs.
9- Create users policy to map network drive P: to \\DC1\Dev for
developers.
Special Requirements
1- Display Welcome message to the users when logon.
2- Create policy to prevent create EXE or PS1 files at Docs folder.
3- Transfer the schema master to DC2.
4- Create RAID 5 on DC2.
5- Create iSCSI on RAID 5 Drive to add HDD on web1 and web2.
6- Adjust the DNS to forward requests to a recursive DNS server
outside the corporate network.
7- Prepare new core edition server in the domain for the future.
