university students have increased significantly during the previous decade. This essay
will examine the advantages and disadvantages of studying an online course.
It can be said that studying an online course has some noteworthy positive effects. The
most significant advantage of attending a course online is that studying online helps
people have more flexible time. For example, I can attend a course in my free time
without the fear of missing out on knowledge, like in a classroom setting. Another good
point would be that I can easily review the lecture multiple times to understand the
material better.
Everything in life, however, has two sides. In this regard, there may be certain drawbacks
to studying an online course. Lack of direct interaction with instructors as well as peers is
the main disadvantage of studying. Additionally, problem health is the drawback of
online courses. For instance, when you look at the screen for too long, your eyes will feel
tired and painful.
In conclusion, over the last decade, the number and diversity of online courses available
to university students have increased dramatically. In my view, you carefully weigh the
pros and cons to make the choice and plan that best suits your wants and needs.
