Activity Title:
LAC Session on Daily Lesson Preparation for K to 12 Basic Education
Curriculum

Dates and Venue: October 6, 2023/Grade 8 Classroom at Sample High School

Objectives:

This activity aims to:

1. Support teachers in organizing and managing their classes and lessons effectively
and efficiently and ensure the achievement of learning outcomes
2. Empower teachers to carry out quality instruction that recognizes the diversity of
learners inside the classroom, is committed to learners' success, allows the use of
varied instructional and formative assessment strategies including the use of
information and communications technologies (ICTs), and enables the teacher to
guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and assessing their learning across
the curriculum

Preliminaries

The LAC session was done in the Grade 8 classroom. It began at 3:30pm with an
opening remark by the speaker, ____________. Mrs. ______________ led the prayer and the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem.

Session Proper

The first session was about the Parts of DepEd Lesson Plan based on DO 042 s. 2016 and
was facilitated by ___________________. The session highlighted the importance of
following the DepEd lesson plan format in delivering lessons or demonstration teachings.
