2. MODELS AND PAINTING RULES
The tournament will ONLY allow players to substitute (proxy) WEAPONS within a 25% limit of
total points. Models with weapon proxies must be marked with a different color on the base or
stamped so that the opponent and the referee team can easily distinguish them. All player
models (proxy and non-proxy) must be confirmed by the organizer before participating in the
tournament (please take a picture and tell the organizer when submitting the list)
We will not allow to replace the body of the model (proxy model).
Kitbash model is allowed in case of not creating an advantage for the owner. But the
disadvantage of the kitbash model can be exploited by the opponent (for example, a Tyranid
model is kitbash to have tentacles extending 4 inches beyond the base, then the range of that
Tyranid model must be measured. from base to target, but when shot, an opponent can
measure from their model to the Tyranid's tentacles). For models that have been changed too
much, the judge team has the right to refuse the use of it. For special cases (for example, the
Typhus model replacing the Lord of Contagion is valid), you can contact us for approval.

units standing within the footprint of the terrain are masking. obscurity will be considered
visible and unseen (ignoring walls)
“In order to target an enemy unit, at least one model in that unit must be within range (i.e.
within the distance of the Range characteristic) of the weapon being used and be visible to

3. CODE OF CONDUCT
Warhammer40K is a bloody grimdark world with brutal conflicts but with it, players have the
opportunities to meet, exchange and make friends with someone who shares the same passion.
We hope that this tournament will leave a good experience and connect you with friends so
that everyone can continue loving this awesome hobby!
Therefore, we seriously encourage everyone to solve all conflicts in the spirit of fairplay, nobility
and respect for opponents. After each round there will be half of the participants losing and if
you can overcome them all to win the championship title then it is a victory well deserved to
enter the history of Vietnam Warhammer. However, the way you behave and perform at the
tournament will also leave a lasting impression on all players in particular and the community in
general. So even if you lose a match, hold your head high and show your style!
- Players need to arrive on time to view information about opponents, tables and receive pre-
match notifications.
- In case of being late for no more than 15 minutes, you need to contact the referee team first if
there is a good reason to not be penalized.
- All cases more than 30 minutes late for whatever reason will still be forfeited.
- Depending on the level of violation, the player will be warned, stick strike or disqualified by
the referee team.
- Respect the organizers, referees and other players.
- Arrive on time and at the right table.
- Actions that threaten, affect the mental and physical health of the organizers, referees and
other players are prohibited and players may be disqualified if violated.
- During the tournament, dice that land not on one single surface or fall off the table will not be
recognized and must be re-roll.
- Players need to measure, note and confirm any distance or Line of sight issues before moving
their models.
- Must be able to provide relevant rules and explain to opponents when required.
- Do not touch opponent models without consent.
- No smoking, profanity, swearing during the tournament. Limit trash talk and noisy actions that
can affect other players.
7
- Do not use depraved, political, reactionary images and content related to religion, state and
fine customs.
* Finally, we come to the tournament to have the best experience and meet like-minded
people. Therefore, we encourage our players to always respect and behave in a spirit of fairplay
and nobility. The organizers encourage competitors to roll dice in cases that cannot be resolved
or are difficult to determine. However, when there is a referee's intervention, the referee's
decision is final.
Competition time and notes:
- Each match will have a total time of 180 minutes (90 minutes for each player). During the
tournament the players will use a stopwatch to keep track of their remaining time.
- After completing each of his actions, the player will stop his watch to let the other player
perform their action.
- Players must control their own time and only the referee can stop the time.
- In case a player runs out of time, they are allowed to complete the action they are taking. For
example, move or shoot a unit for no more than 2 minutes. If the action cannot be performed,
the action will be deemed to have failed.
- If a player runs out of time, they cannot perform any action except roll save and can still score
objective if they meet the conditions for those units on the field.
- The player has the right, but not the responsibility, to remind the opponent to time it. Other
players must absolutely not advise players who are not yout direct opponents to time the game
in any way to ensure the fairness of the match.
- The organizers will make an announcement after the tournament starts: 1 hour, 2 hours and
when there are 30 minutes and 15 minutes left. The player is allowed to ask the referee how
much time is left of each match or his own.
- In cases where the match must be stopped when the intervention of the referee is required,
the matches will be compensated for overtime depending on the decision of the referee team
and will be notified 15 minutes before the end of the match. However, overtime shall not
exceed 30 minutes.
- Depending on the case and reason, the referee has the right to decide to stop the clock or
continue the time.
Example 1: Two opponents are not clear about a special rule of faction that needs to be
explained or consulted for more information from the referee, then the clock will be stopped.
8
Example 2: The player asks for basic information about the opponent's movement and attack.
Their time will continue to run. Because the player's information and datasheet will be
published before the tournament and that data will also be printed by the organizers and made
available for the matches.
- Most players will not use the watch in daily matches, we suggest that you practice to get used
to how to use the clock and consider reasonable time management as a strategy besides the
battle. For example, you can think strategically during your opponent's turn.
- Actions to buy time or intentionally interfere with opponents will be dealt with from warning,
warning, strike or disqualification.
- The following is the recommended time (but not the standard) for players to visualize and
manage their time according to the usual process of a match, which has many models at the
beginning of the game and much fewer in the end.

• Second Turn: 20 Minutes
• Third Turn: 15 Minutes

- In case a player is late after the game starts more than 5 minutes, the opponent will have the
choice to attack or defend. Time will start running with the latecomer's time.
- In case a player is more than 15 minutes late, the referee will set up the terrain and the
opponent will choose to set up all his models on the field and choose to go before or after
round 1.
- Arriving more than 30 minutes late in any case will result in forfeit of the ongoing match.
Scoring:
- Players are responsible for tracking and recording their own scores as well as those of their
opponents.
- If you have passed the step of choosing a mission because of any action of your own, it will be
considered that you did not choose a secondary mission in that turn.
- At the end of each turn and round the player is responsible for recording their own score on
the calculator provided at each table and checking the progress of the opponent's score.
