OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY

Operation Plan

This operational flow chart illustrates the key processes involved in running a pepper spray
with alarm business. The chart is designed to be adaptable and scalable as the business grows.

Figure #: Operational Chart Flow of DefendGuard

The DefendGuard hinges on a well-integrated operational flow. The ultimate goal, sales, is
supported by five key areas. Product Sourcing and Manufacturing secures all necessary
components. Concurrently, Marketing and Sales generate demand. Once orders are received,
Distribution and Logistics handles fulfillment and shipping. Customer Service manages post-
sale interactions, providing valuable feedback for product improvement and informing future
sourcing decisions. Finally, Legal and Regulatory Compliance ensures adherence to all relevant
laws and regulations. This hierarchical structure is scalable, allowing for future expansion and
refinement of each process. Crucially, feedback loops between these areas ensure continuous
improvement, emphasizing efficient inventory management and strict adherence to safety
standards.

Manufacturing Process
The Pepper Spray with Alarm will be assembled in 6QVW+8JR, 18 de Julio Street,
Minglanilla, Cebu. This involves several key stages:

Parts - This initial phase encompasses the sourcing and procurement of all necessary
components. This includes the pepper spray canisters, the alarm mechanism (including its
internal components like the battery and sound emitter), and all packaging materials (bottles,
boxes, labels, inserts). Sourcing might involve multiple suppliers, depending on the availability
and cost-effectiveness of each part.

Assemble - This stage involves the physical assembly of the pepper spray and alarm. This is
likely a multi-step process, requiring careful attention to detail to ensure proper functionality and
safety. The assembly line may be manual or automated, depending on the scale of production.

Quality Control - A rigorous quality control process is crucial to ensure product safety and
reliability. This stage involves inspecting each assembled unit for defects, malfunctions, or
inconsistencies in the components or assembly. Testing may include checking the spray
mechanism, the alarm's sound output, and the overall structural integrity of the product.

Packaging - Once quality control is passed, the pepper spray units are packaged. This
involves placing each unit into its designated packaging, including any inserts with instructions
or safety information. The packaging must be designed to protect the product during shipping
and handling and also to be appealing to consumers.

Distribution Channel - This is the final stage, focusing on getting the finished product to the
end consumer. This might involve direct-to-consumer sales, wholesale distribution to retailers,
or a combination of both. Effective distribution requires a well-planned logistics system to
ensure timely and efficient delivery.

The Formulation of the Pepper Spray;

1. Gather Supplies:

- Vinegar - Black pepper

- Chili flakes - Oil

- Red chili powder - Bowl

- Strainer - Spray bottle

2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine chili flakes, red chili powder, and black pepper in the bowl.

The goal is to create a mixture that will irritate the eyes and cause temporary blindness.

3. Add Vinegar and Oil: Pour vinegar into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Add oil to the

mixture. The oil will help the spray stick to clothes and skin, making it more difficult to remove.

4. Mix Thoroughly: Stir the ingredients well to ensure they are properly combined.

5. Strain and Bottle: Use a strainer to remove any large particles from the mixture. Pour the

strained solution into a spray bottle.

6. Seal Tightly: Ensure the spray bottle is tightly sealed to prevent leaks.
