Adding new documents to your application
We do not accept new documents after the application deadline unless we ask you to submit them, which we only do when the
necessary documents are clearly lacking.
Please note, that you cannot create a new application after the application deadline, if you cancel your application.
Make sure to check the Application Portal for messages
We are continuously processing the applications, which means that you may receive messages from us in the Application Portal
to which you must react. It is your responsibility to keep an eye out for messages from SDU. Please note that emails about
messages in the Application Portal can end up in your junk-filter.

Information regarding the handling of your personal data and your rights.
As part of the handling process of your application for admission at SDU we would like to inform you that we have collected,
registered and will process your various ID details (Social security number, name, address, mail etc.) and educational
information. Collection and treatment of your personal data is for the handling and assessment of your application purposes only.
In some cases, this may mean that your data will be handled by members of staff situated at the faculties as part of the Student
Administration.
The information has been collected via our case handling system, which has had data transferred from the Ministry of Education
´s admission module STADS-DANS. It is through this module you have applied for admission to one or more of our
programmes.
We have registered your information with the authority of article 6(1)(e) in the European General Data Protection Regulation. If
the application includes sensitive data, they are processed according to article 9(2)(g).
The information we have on you will be handled whilst the handling of your application is accomplished.
If you are enrolled in your applied for programme then your data will be transferred to SDU´s study administrative system STADS
and Acadre.
If you are not enrolled then your information will be deleted or filed in our filing system Acadre.
Your rights
It is your legal right to be able to gain access to and correct the information that is registered on your person. Finally, it is your
legal right to request that all data, where the purpose for registration is no longer present, be deleted. The institutions information
