HSE INDUCTION OF VISITORS

(Applicable to Shapoorji Pallonji – Engineering and Construction Sites)

Points to follow:-

1. Park your vehicles only at the designated locations.

2. Use helmet, safety boots and other relevant PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) all the time while at site, fix the helmet properly on the skull and
keep the chin strap down. Tuck the shirt in and button the sleeves. Keep your
hands out of the pocket while walking.

3. Remain watchful and move your step cautiously to prevent slip, trip and fall due
to slippery surface or any obstacle like pipe, cable, steel rods, wooden piece,
plate, ledger, prop, structural member etc. Do not lean or rest against anything.
Avoid walking while talking on a mobile phone.

4. Do not go close to any cable, pipe or moving / running machine and do not
touch any switch / lever / door / valve or handle. Do not stand under suspended
loads.

5. Avoid going near the edges of any platform, slab, duct, shaft, opening, pit or
excavation unless they are guarded by a rigid and strong railing.

6. Read and follow the notices, warnings, messages and instructions on display and
remain alert.

7. Never go alone at the work front, even if you had been there earlier because
conditions at the site keep changing. Always accompany a site representative.
This will also help during emergencies.

8. (Any site specific precaution; for example: speed limit of vehicle inside a factory
or ban on photography by the client etc.).
