How is it going benefit the child - Teaching shapes aim to know the differences between shapes, and sizes
and to know the names of the shapes.
Presentation -
(1) Introduction - Gather the children in the classroom or designed area. Warm up the previous lessons
and introduce today’s(shape)lesson.
(2) Singing - Sing the shapes songs or rhymes with cheerful action to boost their knowing shapes skill.
(3) Shape Lesson - To learn different shapes and observe their environment with what shape they are made
of. Show the shape flashcards and ask them "What shape is it? “Have You Seen The things in that
shape? "Practice shape lesson - Let them draw on the board as the teacher says, for example, “Please
draw the circle/oval, etc." Then, give compliments to them.
Recapitulation - Conclude the lesson by singing a song, letting them share their feelings while
teaching, and asking them the names of the shapes that they teach today. Thank each student for their
participation and sing the transition song if needed.

Teaching Practice Material Compilation/ Evaluation
(1) Objective - Teaching shapes aim to know the differences between shapes, and
sizes and to know the names of the shapes.
Skills - Identifying shapes, Improving creativity and problem-solving skills,
Developing visualization, Modifying sizes, and differences.
Age and level- Nursery (3 to 4 years)
(2) Materials/ Aids - Portable Board (for drawing), shape flashcards or charts,
puppets are used. Using teaching materials support their learning methods,
develop their critical thinking or cognitive skills. Moreover, teaching will be more
effective as they are concentrated the lessons.
(3) Teaching materials can foster students' learning methods. They can explore new
knowledge, think freely, and improve their thinking and problem-solving skills. If
there may be some difficulties in collecting teaching materials, you can use
household things or some things that they used to. For example (If you can't get
rectangle-shaped teaching materials, you can say "Everyone, please look at the
projector. What shape is it?" In this way, you can use other teaching aids.
(4) By using teaching materials, children can apply their thinking to the real world.
