AC-CURE-R(M)
Resin-based curing compound
Curing compound prevents evaporation of capillary water in concrete so that sufficient water is available
for full hydration of cement present in concrete. It adds to the durability of concrete.
This product is based on the green building concept. There are no solvents or volatile matters in the
product. It is user friendly & does not smell. Equipment & nozzles can be washed with plain water. This is
a non-hazardous product.
AC-CURE-R(M) conforms best with specifications and forms aluminized reflective impervious film. This
compound forms a membrane in the form of a film within 60 minutes after application on concrete &
mortar surfaces and disallows evaporation of water.
AC-CURE-R(M) film does not disintegrate, crack or peel off.
AC-CURE-R(M) is suitable where the temperatures are extreme & surfaces are directly exposed to
sunlight. It has the property of metallic reflection due to the content of very fine aluminized particles
dispersed uniformly and also helps the quality controllers at the job site to ensure that the full area is
covered due to its white metallic colour.
Curing efficiency calculated as per B.S.7542 is more than 90%. However, a test should be carried out at
the site for large scale use
USE
AC-CURE-R(M) is universally suitable as a curing membrane for any type of structure. Recommended for use
as curing compound as per MOST specifications in India.
The compound is suitable for curing of :-.
1. Areas directly exposed to sunlight, heavy winds & other environmental influences..
2. Concrete pavements (P.Q.C.) & bridges.
3. Airport runways, port piers, motorways & highways
4. RCC Slabs, columns and beams.
ADVANTAGES

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
For Horizontal Surface
AC-CURE-R(M) can be sprayed on the concrete surface immediately after casting & disappearance of water
from the top surface. A time gap is to be allowed for evaporation of the bleeding water. Avoid application
when standing water is present. AC-CURE-R(M) is supplied in ready to use form. While carrying out an
application by spraying operation, the suitable nozzle of the spraying device should be held about 500 mm
above the concrete surface & a uniform pump pressure be maintained throughout the operation. The curing
compound should be agitated thoroughly in its container before every spraying process.
Vertical Surface
Immediately after removal of shuttering, sprinkle water over the surface (it will help to remove stresses of oil
or any other deleterious material). Apply AC-CURE-R(M ) uniformly by spray application, roller or brush.
Nozzles and Equipment Cleaning
Spray equipment and nozzles can be cleaned with water. (Use warm water if clogging is found)

The product conforms to MoRTH & NHAI specifications in India. Requirement: B.S.7542 & ASTM-C-309.

20 kg/210 kg containers.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Keep in tightly sealed containers. Temperatures below 5° above 45° C should be avoided frozen; it must be
completely thawed and thoroughly mixed before use. AC-CURE-R(M) has a minimum shelf life of Use within
6 months from the date of manufacturing.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The material is non-toxic and we recommend avoiding contact with the eyes. Wash eyes with clean cold water in case
of accidents and seek medical help. Some people may have skin irritation.
